What are the camera parameters for shooting the moon?

In the night sky, the bright moonlight always makes people yearn for it. Taking pictures of the moon is one of the dreams of many photographers. However, due to the particularity of the moon, it is not easy to take clear and beautiful pictures of the moon.

When shooting the moon, please pay attention to the following camera parameters:

1. shutter speed: due to the high brightness of the moon, it is recommended to choose a faster shutter speed to avoid overexposure. Usually, a shutter speed of 1/250 seconds or faster is an ideal choice.

2. Aperture value: Due to the high brightness of the moon, a smaller aperture value is usually selected to obtain a better exposure effect. The selection range of aperture value is between f/8 and f/ 16.

3.ISO sensitivity: The choice of ISO sensitivity depends on the brightness of the shooting environment. In the case of sufficient moonlight, choosing a lower ISO sensitivity can reduce noise. Generally speaking, ISO 100 to ISO400 is a more suitable choice.

4. Lens focal length: When shooting the moon, choosing a longer focal length can better capture the details of the moon. Generally, the focal length between 200mm and 400mm is an ideal choice.

Here are the steps to photograph the moon:

1. Get your camera and tripod ready. Because it takes a long exposure time to shoot the moon, using a tripod can avoid the blur caused by hand-held shooting.

2. Set the camera to manual mode. Manual mode allows you to completely control the camera parameters to get the best shooting effect.
