Triangle composition method

Next, I will learn the triangle composition method, which is more difficult. Unlike the previous fool composition method, people who have no photography foundation can understand it at once. Once they learn it, they need patience to study it, otherwise they will have a little knowledge (as I do now).

Triangle composition method is to form a triangular geometric picture with three visual center points in the picture, and to form the stability between the main bodies of the picture by using the stability of the triangle. Commonly used triangles are regular triangle, oblique triangle, vertical triangle and inverted triangle.

The three characters in the picture form a triangle, which makes the picture more story-telling.

However, after using triangles, you can also add dynamic tension to the photos.

Maybe you have begun to wonder, what is dynamic tension?

You can look at it this way. Parallel lines and vertical lines often mean the stability of photos.

For example, if you see a person standing on a horizontal plane, you will feel that the photo is stable. However, if this person stands on an inclined plane, such as an uphill slope, he looks unstable and tends to dive or lean back, which is what we call a more dynamic visual tension.

In the picture below, there are no obvious lines, just a triangle made of trees.

Therefore, by using diagonal lines and triangles in photos, dynamic tension can be added to photos. The lines of a triangle need not be complete or smooth. It can also be a triangular object. You can look at the photos below.
