With three elderly people in their 200 s and a baby, we set out from Wuhan.

I spent five days before and after going to Shennongjia, two days on the road and three days in Shennongjia, and visited six scenic spots.

Go into the mountains and walk along the stream. There are many beautiful scenery along the way. The overpass is cool and beautiful, the Dajiu Lake is well-deserved, and the original ecology of the slate is rugged.

The trip was tense and hard, but both the elderly and the children were satisfied and received unanimous praise.

1. The route and general situation of this trip.

Route:

Day 1: Take the train from Hankou Railway Station to Yichang East at 7: 00 in the morning, then take the cruise ship "Gaoxia Pinghu" and take the through train next to the station to Yichang Wharf, and browse the coastal scenery such as the Three Gorges Dam and Xiling Gorge along the way. Arrive at Xingshan Xiakou Wharf around 2 noon. From the pier to Muyu Town, stay at Muyu Town Hotel and contact Shennongjia for a three-day chartered car.

The next day: take a chartered tour of the scenic spots along the west line of Shennongjia Scenic Area, mainly including Shennongding and Banbi Rock, as well as small scenic spots such as Prince Cliff, Cool Wind Cliff and Sansheng Stone. Stay at the end of the western line at night: Pingqian Town. (The town is located at the entrance of Dajiu Lake Scenic Area)

Day 3: It took five hours to visit Dajiu Lake in the morning. In the afternoon, I arrived at Tianyanfeng Scenic Area on the northern line of Shennongjia. The two scenic spots are far apart. It took a day, and it was hard to ride on the road.

Day 4:-Muyu Town, Guanmen Mountain, Tianshengqiao and Shennongtan are three small scenic spots that are better to visit. Go to Muyu Town in the evening, then eat hot pot and buy some souvenirs.

Day 5: Take the passenger bus back to Yichang East in the morning and take the bullet train back to Wuhan.

About tickets:

Tickets for the six scenic spots in Shennongjia can be bought separately or in combination. It is strongly recommended to buy a joint ticket, 269 yuan, valid for five days! Tickets for Dajiu Lake and Shennongding Just in 260 yuan, buy tickets for six scenic spots! You can buy joint tickets at any scenic spot, or you can buy them online with your ID card. It looks cheap and not losing money. Older people can also be half-price, and those over 70 are free. 1.2m is free. So this trip brought three old people and one child, and I was the only one who bought all the tickets. I deeply feel that I have earned it!

After buying a ticket for the first time, everyone gets a card. Enter the first scenic spot and ask for fingerprints. After that, you have to press your fingerprint to enter other scenic spots with this card, so don't lose this ticket card!

Shennongding: Hardship index is 5 (climbing the mountain is the most tiring). It will take about 3-4 hours.

Great Lakes: 4 points for hard work (it takes a lot of walking), 5 hours for sightseeing (it is best to stay all day, and you can't see 9 lakes in half a day), and 5 points for scenery (the highest).

Overpass: 2 points for hard work, 2 hours for sightseeing and 4 points for scenery.

Guanshan: 2 points for hardship index, 2 hours for sightseeing and 2 points for scenery (mainly animal and plant specimens).

How to get to Shennongjia

At present, four ways are recommended:-coach, motor train to Yichang bus, motor train to Yichang Yangtze River cruise, and self-driving. Our trip is the third way, that is, by train to Yichang Yangtze River cruise. The scenery on the river is very good, crossing Xiling Gorge. Wide view, cool breeze and comfortable cruise ship, suitable for the elderly and children.

Shennongjia is a mountain scenic spot, which is far away, and even if some scenic spots enter the gate, they still have to walk more than ten kilometers to reach the scenic spot, so driving is also a good choice. Of course, Shennongjia is full of mountain roads. The weather in mountainous areas is changeable and it often rains. You should be very careful when driving.

Let's talk about the first three ways in detail and make a comparison for everyone:

1. It takes about 7 hours for the train to transfer to Yichang bus, which is more comfortable, fastest and cheapest. Tickets1around 60 yuan.

Take the bullet train from Wuhan to yichang east railway station. The passenger station is on the left-hand side of the East Station. You can buy a bus ticket to Muyu Town.

The train journey takes 2-2.5 hours (depending on the frequency), and the train ticket is about 90 yuan. It takes 3.5 hours by bus and 66 yuan by ticket. It takes a little time to buy a bus ticket or something, so it takes about seven hours.

2. The long-distance bus takes 7 hours, and the ticket is 170 yuan. It is easiest not to change trains. Road conditions are better and the speed is faster.

There are three bus stations in Wu Hanyou, including Hankou Xinrong Road Coach Station, Wuchang Acer Bus Station and Wuchang Qingnian Road Bus Station. However, the departure times of the three stations are different, as shown in the following figure. Please pay attention to the timing.

You can reach Muyu Town in the afternoon. You can also choose Guanmen Mountain, Shennongtan and Tiansheng Bridge near Muyu Town for half a day. The time budget is the most compact.

It takes about 8 hours to transfer from the bullet train to the Yangtze River cruise ship, which is troublesome, the slowest and the most expensive. 270 yuan by train and cruise, but experienced. You can browse some scenery of the Three Gorges and cross Xiling Gorge along the way. This way is the most troublesome, but the landlord thinks it is worth experiencing.

So in detail, the cruise ship-must arrive in yichang east railway station before 9: 30. You'd better choose the D58 17 train from Hankou.

Because 90% of the tickets on the cruise ship are supplied to travel agencies, it is necessary to book tickets in advance, and the terminal may not be able to buy tickets.

The price of the dock is 245 yuan, the online booking is 180 yuan, and the through train fare from yichang east railway station to the dock is 10 yuan (you must take this bus, otherwise it will be more troublesome to go to the dock by yourself), so the fare plus the bus is 190 yuan. /kloc-children under 0/.2m don't need a boat ticket, but need to buy a bus ticket from 30 yuan. It is said that Tuniu and Tmall also have tickets, so you can search them.

Pay attention to the cruise ship "Gaoxia Pinghu", from Yichang to Xingshan Xiakou.

You can sit on the first floor of the cruise ship at will, but the environment is poor. The second floor is a large air-conditioned room, and the third floor is an open scenic spot, with only railings and no glass, and the best view.

We need a table for 280 yuan on the second and third floors. You can send a pot of tea, fruit and snacks. If the sun is not big and the weather is not hot, it is recommended to sit on the third floor and fully enjoy the scenery.

This route is a dam area, which is very stable and won't get seasick. It takes more than 2 hours to reach Xingshan Xiakou Wharf. The picture below shows the interior of the cruise ship on the third floor. It was cold that day, so we opened a table on the third floor. The scenery is very good and the river breeze is blowing gently.

After disembarking from Xingshan Xiakou Wharf, there are three roads to Muyu Town. First, chartered cars, second, long-distance buses, and third, ask the tour guide to see if there are any vacancies in the queue.

Then take a long-distance bus from Xiakou Town. It seems that a bus passed Muyu Town from Zigui. You need to ask in town.

How about accommodation and transportation in Shennongjia?

Let's talk about accommodation first:

Shennongjia tourists generally live in Muyu Town. Muzhen is the largest tourist distribution center in Shennongjia, with complete transportation, living and accommodation. It is located in the middle of several distant scenic spots, and 80% of people who play Shennongjia live here.

The peak season in Shennongjia is during the summer vacation from mid-July to mid-August. The old people in the whole street come to spend the summer. There are many rooms except summer vacation and holidays. It can be said that the streets are full of inns and restaurants. It is suggested to look for it on the spot in Muyu Town. Many inns will take the initiative to find you. And usually, online booking is more expensive than on-site search!

Arrived in Muyu Town on August 13. When I got off the bus, I felt that there were many rooms and customers. I can see two myself.

Muzhen is not a big town. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from one end to the other. There are two parallel streets in the middle, one is the front street and the other is the back street. Backstreet is quiet, and there are some local offices.

Qian Jie is mainly for tourists to stay and eat, which is more lively, more convenient and a little more expensive.

There is also a busy passenger center at the end of Muyu Town, and there is a Xinyijia supermarket nearby where you can buy things. Restaurants near Xinjia are relatively concentrated, with fierce competition, many choices and transparent prices. Daily meals can be solved around here. Here, for example, the first meal of cold-water fish hot pot is a catty of 80 yuan, and then a catty of cold-water fish near Xinyijia is 48 yuan. The difference is quite big!

Let's talk about traffic. There are scenic buses in Shennongjia Scenic Area. You can ask at the passenger station for details.

The distant scenic spots include Dajiu Lake, Tianyan Scenic Area (two farthest scenic spots in different directions), Shennongding and slate. Nearby attractions include Tianshengqiao, Shennongtan and Guanmen Mountain.

If you take the scenic bus, it is also troublesome to check the time and frequency of bus access, and some scenic spots are far from the entrance, so most people choose to charter, drive or join a group.

Let's talk about chartered cars in detail: one day in 400 yuan, one day in 700 yuan, 100 yuan a day. Both the driver and the inn can help carpool.

If a family comes, a chartered car is the most comfortable and convenient. This is the way we travel. If you rent a car, you have to pay 100 yuan to stay in Pingqian Town or stay outside Muyu, and the driver's accommodation is also borne by tourists.

Generally, drivers don't eat with tourists, and solve it by themselves. If you charter a car, it is also a good arrangement for someone to go to 200 yuan in Muyu Town for half a day in the afternoon, and to visit Tianshengqiao, Shennongtan and Guanmenshan in Muyu Town.

How to plan the route of four or six scenic spots

The six scenic spots in Shennongjia include Shennongding, Shennongtan, Tianshengqiao, Guanmen Mountain, Tianyan and Dajiu Lake.

See the figure below for the distribution of scenic spots. The red scenic spots include Muyu Town, Shennongding, Dajiu Lake and Tian Yan Scenic Spot (Yanzi Cave and Yanzi Cliff).

Shennongtan, Tianshengqiao and Guanmen Mountain are three scenic spots near Muyu Town, which are not marked.

With Muyu Town as the center, the blue line on the left is the west line of the scenic spot, which mainly leads to Shennongding and Dajiu Lake, and is also the essence line of Shennongjia. The end of this line is Pingqian Town (the entrance of Dajiuhu Scenic Area).

The white line above is the northern line, and the main attractions are Tianyan Scenic Area (Swallow Cave and Swallow Cliff).

Many tour groups only take the western route (Blue Line) for their two-day tour of Shennongjia, and it is very hard to visit Shennongding and Dajiu Lake in one day. As for Dajiu Lake, you can basically stand by and watch. Of course, it can also be regarded as the Great Nine Lakes.

But in fact, it takes at least five hours (only half) to see the nine lakes, and it takes at least a whole day to see them all. The best way to play is to stay in Dajiu Lake for two days. The photographer's favorite should be Dajiu Lake.

You can see the morning fog of Dajiu Lake before 6: 30 in the morning. If you don't live in Dajiu Lake, it is basically difficult to see the morning fog in Dajiu Lake. This is one of the most beautiful scenery in Shennongjia!

Charter a car in Muyu Town, where the "old driver" can help plan the route. During the period, it needs to be considered according to the weather, because if it rains and the visibility of Dajiu Lake is relatively low, there will be no scenery and fog.

The difficulty, hard work and time-consuming of each scenic spot are explained above, but in general, if you want to run all the scenic spots, you still have to reserve three whole days in Shennongjia. Here are some simple recommended lines:

Compact two-day tour: (suitable for tourists with limited time)

Day 1: Take the West Line from Muyu Town, play Shennongding Scenic Spot in the morning and Dajiu Lake Scenic Spot in the afternoon. There are some scenic spots along the road, and you can see the sunset of Dajiu Lake at night. Then go back to Muyu Town.

The next day: Visit Tianyan Scenic Area in the morning and visit three small scenic spots around Muyu Town in the afternoon.

Popular three-day tour: (you can choose this way if you don't live in Pingqian Town)

Day 1: Take the West Line from Muyu Town, play Shennongding Scenic Spot in the morning and Dajiu Lake Scenic Spot in the afternoon. There are some scenic spots along the road, and you can see the sunset of Dajiu Lake at night. Then go back to Muyu Town. (This day is the hardest. It takes the longest time to go out early. )

Day 2: Visit Tianyan Scenic Area and some small scenic spots along the way.

Day 3: Visit three scenic spots around Muyu Town: Guanmen Mountain, Shennongtan and Tiansheng Bridge. (It's a relaxing day)

Three-day tour in Pingqian Town: (If you are not too tired, you can watch the morning fog in Dajiu Lake)

Day 1: Depart from Muyu Town, take the West Line, visit Shennongding Scenic Area, visit Pingqian Town along the way, and stay in Pingqian Town. If you have time in the afternoon, you can go to Dajiu Lake to watch the sunset. (The joint ticket is valid for five days and can be re-entered)

The next day: visit Dajiu Lake in the morning, return to Muyu Town in the afternoon, and visit the scenic spots around Muyu Town.

Day 3: Visit Tianyan in the morning and return to Muyu Town in the afternoon to visit the remaining scenic spots around Muyu Town.

Four-day tour: (relax and fully enjoy Dajiu Lake)

Day 1: Starting from Muyu Town, visit Shennongding Scenic Area, and visit Supingqian Town in the evening.

You can walk through nine lakes in one day and watch the morning fog and sunset at night. It's really beautiful. You can stay in Pingqian Town or go back to Muyu Town at night.

Day 3: Go to Tianyan Scenic Area in the morning and return to Muyu Town for rest in the afternoon.

Day 4: Small scenic spots around Muyu Town.

Among the six scenic spots, if time is limited and you need to choose, it is suggested that the West Line, Shennongding and Dajiu Lake should be kept the most, and the Eye of the Sky scenic spot should be kept again. Finally, there is a small scenic spot around Muyu Town, but Tiansheng Bridge is really nice, cool and beautiful, and it is worth visiting. Shennongtan is an artificial scenic spot. Personally, I feel that I have no time to give up.

Guanmen Mountain is mainly a place to display geological and biological specimens. It is good to take children to see the richness of species, but if adults are interested in beautiful scenery, Guanmen Mountain may not be interested. You can visit the Museum of Biology and the Museum of Botany, among others. For example, there is only one panda in the Panda Museum.

If you can plan to stay in Shennongjia for three whole days, the landlord strongly recommends that you stay in Pingqian Town for one night and see the morning fog in Dajiu Lake. That day won't be too difficult.

Pingqian Town is cheaper and quieter than Muyu Town. There is a big supermarket in Pingqian Town, the price is only one more expensive than that in Wuhan, so if you want to stay for a few days and enjoy Dajiu Lake, you'd better buy food in the supermarket and cook by yourself. Ps: The food in Pingqian Town is a little expensive. Fish-flavored shredded pork, boiled pork slices and the like, forty or fifty yuan.

How to play the five scenic spots?

Here, only the bigger Shennongding and Dajiu Lake are introduced. Other scenic spots are basically concentrated, and a plank road is completed.
