Introduction of Tourist Guides and Scenic Spots in Tang Ancient Town

The wall is covered with Bai Mo, and the ship is shining, which looks like a light-colored rice paper painting under the rendering of mist; Walking into the ancient town, the cloister shed is old and the alley is deep, as if entering the long river of history. In addition to the water town style, the food in Xitang, from street snacks to restaurant food, is also mouth-watering. Tom's jumping and shuttling between white walls and tiles and his rapid running between misty and rainy towers also brought Xitang, a water town, to the whole world.

Today, I'm going to take you to see this dreamy Jiangnan town. You can see the panorama of its smile.

Route guide:

There is no definite route order to visit the ancient town of Tang, and there are many entrances. It is recommended to stay in Xitang at night. Red lanterns are hung all over the sky, and the ancient town is noisy and fashionable. Get up early the next day and savor the whole Xitang from the first breakfast.

Accommodation is concentrated on both sides of the misty and rainy corridor, and there are antique waterfront inns such as old residence, Suiyuan and so on. On the bank of Yongning Bridge with the most beautiful scenery, there are many restaurants such as Laopinfang, Qiantang Family, Ming and Qing Dynasties.

You can walk along the misty rain corridor for breakfast, eat whatever you see, and taste stinky tofu, tofu flower, zongzi, tied meat, small wonton and other snacks all the way; At lunch, go to Laopinfang to taste the old duck wonton soup and taste the delicious first pot. Have dinner in Xiangtang, sit on his wooden table and stand in the open air on the shore, light candles and watch the cruise ship pass by. Very pleasant.

After dinner, take a cruise and experience the life in the water town. You can still soak in Xitang in the end. The ancient seaside bar, the red sofa in Hong Ting and the luxurious taste of Fujutang all make people linger.

Ancient dwellings on both sides of the Taiwan Strait

If the entertainment in the town is colorful and complete, it can't be compared with big cities, but the water town has its own elegance and charm.

In addition to regular cinemas, video halls and dance halls, there are Fu You Julou Cultural Club, Chenjia Old House Bar, Hong Ting Bar, Suiyuan Zhu Xiao Bar and Covered Bridge Dream Bar.

Go to Xitang by boat at night and watch the red lanterns on both sides of the river, which is crowded and a combination of fashion and classicism. In the river at night, you can also put lotus lanterns of various sizes, which is very interesting.

One of the recommended attractions of the smoke gallery: sending my son to Phoenix Bridge.

Laifeng Bridge is located on the east side of Xiaotong Street, opposite the water stage and next to the cruise center. The bridge was built in 1637 (the tenth year of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty) and is a three-hole stone slab bridge. Legend has it that a bird flew over when the bridge was built. The bridge builder thought it was auspicious and named it "Songzi Laifeng Bridge". It was rebuilt in the forty-eighth year of Kangxi and the fifteenth year of Daoguang in Qing Dynasty.

Laifeng Bridge, rebuilt 1997, has a unique shape and structure, and is suitable for sightseeing. It is one of the new attractions. The width of this bridge is 10 meter, and the middle is separated by a flower wall, so pedestrians can go their own way. People usually call it Qingyu Bridge.

There is a shed with red eaves and tiles at the top of the bridge, which is simple and novel. There are guardrails on both sides of the bridge and long blocks paved with square bricks for tourists to rest in the river and enjoy the scenery.

How should I get to the bridge?

It's still a little fastidious to walk this bridge. The ancients paid attention to yin and yang, and Nanyang was in the north of yin. In ancient times, men were yang and women were yin. On the south side of the bridge are stairs and on the north side are slopes. Of course, men are promoted step by step, and women's three-inch golden lotus is a small step, which can keep a stable home. The old people said, "When the newlyweds take a walk, they will send their children to the south, and they will come to Phoenix in the north." If you have no children after marriage, you might as well take a walk.

Meryl, the heroine of the international movie star The Bridges of Madison County, is here.

The so-called porch shed is actually a street with a roof. Some of the verandahs in Xitang are by the river, some are in the middle, and some are equipped with back stools by the river for people to rest. The roof of the veranda is "falling into the water" and "falling into the water", and the roof of the veranda is also formed by street buildings. Although different, they can protect enterprises and pedestrians from the sun and rain.

Legend about the porch hut:

There is a businessman named Hu in Tawan Street, Xitang. Hu, the shopkeeper, is young and widowed, struggling to support a family and a shop. There is a tofu stand in front of Hu's shop. The stall owner, Wang Er, is strong and upright. When he saw Hu's difficulties, he helped her make some handicrafts. After a long time, Hu felt that he could not live without him, but it was hard to say.

So one day, taking the opportunity of repairing the shop, she asked the craftsmen to build a row of cloisters by the river to cover the street in front of the shop, so that Wang Er could not be exposed to the sun and wind, and she could set up a stall as usual in rainy days, and two people were under one roof. After the corridor shed was built, Hu's shop business flourished, and businesses in the town followed suit. A few years later, it became the unique architectural style of Xitang. Later, when people knew this meaning, they named the porch a shed, which means a shack built for their husbands.

Xitang Night Scene Recommended Attraction 3: Shipilong

Before the Ming Dynasty, there were four families in the ancient town: Tang, Wang, Zhao and Lu. After the Ming Dynasty, there were many big families, such as Ni, Jiang, Zhu, Lu Bu and Lu, so many deep houses were built. Up to now, there are 122 alleys with different lengths in the whole town, among which there are 5 alleys over 100 meters, and the most distinctive open-air alley is called Shipi Lane.

Pinong is an alley formed between two mansions of the descendants of the Wang family. The wall is paved with 2 16 boards with a thickness of only 3cm, and the floor is paved with 168 boards with a total length of 68 m. The widest point is 1. 1 m, and the narrowest point is 0.8 m, which is the corridor between Wangzunwendian and Zhongfu Temple.

According to research, under the stone road in the farm is a sewer without water in rainy days. As the skin of sewer, thin slate is called Pilong. There is a long and narrow sky above, so Shipi Lane is called the "first-line sky" of Xitang.

Highlight 4: Yongning Bridge

Standing on Yongning Bridge, you can have a panoramic view of both sides of Xutang River, and you can also see the quaint covered bridge in the south. Xutang River is a narrow water lane, with an antique street in the west and an ancient Dong Tang street in the east.

Yongning Bridge is the best scenic spot in the town at present. The promenade facing south in Hebei is like a long winding dragon lying by the water, and pedestrians and bicycles pass under it. Its taste is rare in other ancient towns.

The south bank of the river is behind the West Street, and there are high and low residential buildings along the river, mostly from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. The mansion has a high wind and fire wall and a panoramic view of the blue brick river bridge. The scenery here is most favored by photographers and painters, and it is the hunting ground they created.

Characteristics of Xitang of Yongning Bridge

Water lamp

"Water Lantern" has always been a reserved activity in Xitang every festival. Nearly a thousand water lanterns with different shapes are dotted on the water surface of Xitang, changing the scenery and bringing colorful patterns to Xitang, a water town. It is the most charming landscape in Xitang at night, which contrasts with the red lanterns dotted under the arc-shaped thousand-meter corridor shed.

Watch a social drama

Every night, there will be some Jiangnan traditional drama programs on the "water stage" of Xue Zhai. The content is rich and colorful, and the scenery on the other side of the river makes people linger.

Pinxiangming

I'm a little tired after visiting the ancient town of Tang. Find a place to rest and have tea, such as a cruise ship or a small teahouse on the street, and have a cup of fragrant teas. Love comes from the environment, and the environment comes from tea. Taste Xitang, taste life.

Modern hotels have complete facilities, but most of them can't fully appreciate the Xitang style, which is suitable for business guests. Compared with the problems of hot water, toilets and sound insulation in ancient houses, the hotel is comfortable, standard and antique. Outside the scenic spot, near the entrance, there is Xitang holiday, and there is a coffee table in the flower bed on the second floor of the hotel. Phoenix Hotel has received many crews and worked as a shooting venue. There is a Liyuan Hotel in Yejiaxiang in the scenic spot, which combines classical houses with modern rooms and is located in Gu Xiang, the most distinctive city in Xitang. The room prices in these hotels are all above 100 yuan.

Second, Linshui Inn

The most popular choice for living in Xitang is Linshui Inn, which is mostly concentrated in the waterfront near Yongning Bridge to Qiao Feng Bridge. The branches are by the water, and the windows are by the water. The price is moderate and the business is excellent on weekends. You need to make a reservation in advance. Wanyuan Inn is adjacent to Tanghe River in the west and Tangyi East Street in the back, with a superior geographical position. It has both the characteristics of ancient buildings in the south of the Yangtze River and the style of quadrangles. There are three carved big bed rooms along the river, and there is a tea room along the river for you to enjoy the scenery, relax and make friends. Build an old house with a small side, close to another country hotel, live in front of a bar, have two rooms facing the river, carve patterns or designs on woodwork big bed, computer and broadband internet access; Li Inn has a unique vegetable garden for tourists to pick by themselves, and the ancestral secret tea has a unique taste. The prices of these rooms are around 150 yuan on weekdays, and slightly increase on weekends and holidays.

Three. Ancient houses in Ming and Qing dynasties

Most of the ancient Ming and Qing houses in the scenic area are located in the inner courtyard of the deep alley. The courtyard is deep and all the furnishings are antique. Although it is not close to the water, the house is spacious and you can deeply appreciate the ancient life of the ancient town. It's quiet and the cheapest. Sleeping on a century-old carved bed, smelling the smell of water town in the air, gradually falling asleep, intoxicating. Shen Tangming is a typical mansion in the south of the Yangtze River. This is the royal residence in Tangxi Town. All the antiques were found in the hall. The boss is loyal to his feelings. There are many musical instruments in the hall, and musicians often come to study. Chen Lao Zhai (Youth Hostel) is in front of the bar (the bar faces the water) and behind the house. The evening is charming. The yard behind the bar is quiet. Zuntang itself is a scenic spot, hidden in a stone alley. The "centenary painting case" in the museum is a national monument; Ruyilou Inn is the best decorated of all ancient houses. If you live in Ruyi Building, you can visit the Drunk Garden for free. Tongcun Inn is an old house built in Yongzheng period of Qing Dynasty. Its boss is a folk artist with a unique style of writing and a good reputation among donkey friends. The price of these rooms is about 100 yuan on weekdays, which is slightly higher on weekends and holidays.
