Is it the same as shooting and recording?

Recording while shooting is not the same as taking pictures.

In photography, video recording and photographing are two different technologies. Video recording requires the use of camera equipment to record a continuous time, while photography captures an instant by taking still photos. Although modern cameras and video equipment have the function of taking pictures and recording, the equipment will be adjusted according to different needs.

When taking pictures, the photographer usually chooses a suitable position and angle, and then presses the shutter, and the camera will record the image at this moment. Photos can be taken at any time, not limited by time.

When recording video, the photographer needs to choose a suitable position and angle, and then start recording video. When recording video, the camera will record a continuous time, including light, color, shape, sound and other information. During the recording process, the photographer can't press the shutter at any time as when taking pictures, because this will interrupt the video recording.

Therefore, shooting while recording is different from taking pictures, and both have different characteristics and uses.
