Do you envy other people's lives?
Sometimes we always envy others, why others live so colorful, others are so happy every day, others are so excellent, as if others are better than me in everything. I've always thought so, and I feel useless. When I was in college, because the college entrance examination was not ideal, the chosen school always felt inferior to others, so the university studied hard, hoping to find a good job and live better than them after coming out to work.
After I went to college, I found that college was different from what I expected. Every day, I see my roommates playing games, watching movies, skipping classes and cheating in exams in the dormitory. The college entrance examination that I went through so hard in those years turned out to be like this. I thought to myself, my high school classmates must be talking loudly about knowledge with his classmates and professors in the bright classroom at this time, but I am far behind them.
Later, I found some students who were employed and saw their dynamics and interesting things in the circle of friends every day. His colleagues, his company and his travel all make me envy. I knew that every day, except for classes, the rest of the time was idle in the dormitory. At the beginning, I might as well go out and work hard with my classmates. Although I think so, I still want to live my own life, so I decided to change myself and enrich my life. After finishing school every day.
I went to the school library to enrich my amateur knowledge, set myself some small goals, and took the certificate I wanted to take. On weekends, I did some part-time jobs. Although it is only a simple job of handing out leaflets, it is much better than sleeping in a dormitory. Of course, there is a salary. Some small holidays, I use my own money to go out for a poor trip. At first, I just traveled alone in my own city.
Later, I slowly began to travel to other cities. Since then, my dynamics and circle of friends are either photos of me in the library, photos of my certificate, photos of my travel around, or photos of me learning to drive in a driving school. My troubles never seem to appear.
One day, my high school classmate chatted with me. He said that he envied me, went to so many places, read so many books and had so many certificates. But in fact, I have always admired him. I was admitted to a good university. How can I envy me? I don't believe it. Later, another high school classmate who had been employed called me and asked me how I was now. Like most people's answers, I'm fine.
He told me that he didn't study hard before, but now he has suffered a lot at work, and it is impossible to go back to the past. He said that I envy the carefree school now, and I can go wherever I want. How is it possible that I envied them at the beginning, so now they envy me.
In fact, everyone has their own life. I am not you, and I don't know what kind of life you live, and I don't know whether you are happy or not. When we feel that other people's lives are good and envy others, we don't know that others are also envious of us. So we just have to live our own lives and live the life we want.
