Techniques for photographing trees
1. Shoot through the forest.
When sunlight penetrates the forest, it will form bundles of light through the forest because it is blocked by leaves and branches. This kind of light is called "the holy light of Jesus" by some photographers, which can add a sense of holiness to the picture.
Shooting such a subject, it is best to choose in the early morning or dusk, when the sun shines obliquely into the Woods, you can get the best picture effect. In actual shooting, you can shoot against the light or shoot with side light and parallel light.
In terms of exposure, you can take dark photos according to the brightness of forest light to set off forest light; On this basis, you can also add 1~2 exposure compensation to make the picture more detailed.

1. Grow translucent leaves.

4. The beauty of dead leaves
Yellow leaves can be seen everywhere from autumn to winter. As long as you pay attention to them, they are also excellent shooting materials. Usually, you can express the atmosphere for a period of time through small depth of field and light and shadow effects.

5. The most artistic corner.

Don't always think about taking pictures of all the branches and leaves when shooting. We can find a corner of a leaf, make it occupy about 2/3 of the screen, and leave other areas blank as much as possible. If the background is really messy, you can use a large aperture or a long focal length to blur the background and highlight the subject to be represented.
When shooting in dense forests, the picture is often dark or the shutter speed is reduced due to insufficient light. At this time, the flash can be used to fill the light, but in order to avoid the reflective marks on the leaves, it is best to use a soft mask to soften the light of the flash. In addition, we can also increase the exposure compensation appropriately to brighten the picture.
