Hard work is very important! But don't let your diligence become "low-level repetition"!

1.

A few days ago, I chatted with Dai Girl, a young woman in literature and art. The whole world was talking nonsense, telling stories, writing and publishing literature, hard life, hard dreams, distant marriages, anxious parents and so on. Finally, she lamented: A lot of things get for nothing.

This sentence itself is correct. Many people seem to have felt this way. They obviously worked hard and diligently, but just like in martial arts novels, they accidentally entered a maze set by a master. No matter how you go, you will always beat around the bush.

Mingming works very hard. Obviously, I have been conscientious and meticulous, but I haven't got anything.

It is said that as you sow, you reap, and God will not let everyone who works hard down, but I scattered flowers all over the mountain, but not even a dog's tail grass grew. How do you explain this? Wouldn't that be like a girl's sigh!

However, some things seem impeccable and well-founded, but they do not represent the truth.

Is it really hard work that doesn't seem to get the reward it deserves?

My friend suffered from anxiety a few years ago, and the doctor advised her to practice writing, because it is a particularly sharpening thing. When Xu's friend came back from the hospital, he went to the stationery store to prepare a brush and ink and began to practice calligraphy.

She has practiced for three years and has written 300 Tang poems over and over again. I have almost recited the Song of Eternal Sorrow, but when she looked at her calligraphy, she knew that there was no introduction at all. I once worked as a teaching assistant in a calligraphy school for a while, and watched those children with zero foundation with my own eyes. In a few months, I was able to copy many pagodas with dignity, and some people took part in national competitions and won prizes.

Xu writes very hard and writes for at least an hour every day. It stands to reason that after ten years of grinding a sword, cold light will be drawn and iron will be cut like mud! It's been three years, anyway, there should be some fur, but it's not like this at all.

Xu's diligence is just constant low-level repetition, which is ineffective diligence and habitual action. She didn't understand the essence of diligence. Action is only an external manifestation of diligence. True diligence not only means doing it, but also means constantly thinking about breakthrough, transcendence and tomorrow must be better than today.

It is said that every time Kobe misses the winning ball, he will stay and practice, in the same place, in the same movement, until he throws a hundred times. This is Kobe's diligence.

Donkeys pull the stone mill, every day. No one says he is diligent, but at most he is diligent. The difference between diligence and diligence is that diligence can be repetitive work, just like workshop production, which always produces the same thing. Diligence means working hard at work, pioneering and making continuous progress. The purpose of diligence is not to repeat production, but to make progress and strive for strength.

My father has been farming for 60 years. He is recognized as hardworking, but now he is over 70 years old, and the annual harvest can only solve the problem of eating. Because of his diligence, he keeps repeating the same thing and goes to Qiu Lai every spring. He never thought about whether he could try to grow flowers and herbs besides growing rice in rice fields. This kind of peer-to-peer repetition will not make progress.

Once a person enters a state of low-level repetition, it may be the shackles of his life development.

Even if you feel that you are working hard and diligent, you can only go round and round, and you can't ascend to a new height.

People who press the shutter all their lives may not become photographers; Many people who have written articles all their lives can't become writers; Playing Tai Ji Chuan in the park for ten years may have nothing to do with kung fu, because that is not the right way to work hard at all.

If a person is not on the right track, the more diligent he is, the more tired he is; The more tired you are, the more unbalanced your mentality will be. Once a person's mentality is out of balance, it is impossible for a lifetime without the fun of struggle.

The correct way of diligence must be new and constantly surpassing. You must be able to see your progress and see that you are different from the past! Seeing that the sunshine of victory is getting closer and closer to you, you must throw the ball that you couldn't throw before!

In this sense, low-level repetitive diligence is essentially cowardice and laziness. Afraid of challenging the unknown, too lazy to forge ahead, always staying in familiar places, always doing the same thing safely. This is the most despicable diligence, the most pathetic effort, and the most * * * complaint and incompetence.

Such people are pitiful. They always feel that they have paid more than others, that society is unfair to them, and that they will blame others for being lazy. As everyone knows, they are the real slackers!

How to get rid of the low-level shackles, so that efforts can be traced and the future can be expected?

A few years ago, when I was working, I knew a photographer friend. He is the chief photographer of a Southern newspaper, and he is absolutely senior. When communicating with him, he said: learning photography is not playing with a camera at all, just like learning to draw, not learning to use brushes and pigments. Photography is composition, philosophy, literature, aesthetics and interest. These are things other than cameras.

He suggested that if you want to learn photography, you must first be familiar with machines, which is the first step. Read more great photographers' works, read more philosophical works and think more about what kind of works you want to shoot. Press the shutter every time under the guidance of thought.

I think he inadvertently mentioned the core of effective efforts, and we should act with our heads.

The premise of diligence is to know what you want first. If you don't understand what you want at all, then all your efforts are just fooling around! When your efforts degenerate into low-level repetition, you are actually a donkey, habitually maintaining the status quo, and no matter how much time you spend, you will not make progress. Since your diligence has nothing to do with progress, what qualifications do you have to expect and demand?

In fact, struggle is the most wonderful experience in the world. If you don't feel this way, your efforts and struggles may have reached a dead end. A person can do one thing desperately, but if he wants to do it for a long time and achieve great success, perseverance alone is not enough. You must find pleasure in it.

I especially like a sentence called the fun of a lifetime. Jobs said that he never thought about how much money he would make. He just wants to do his best to do the job he likes. As for the money, it will come naturally. People who struggle purely for the sake of struggle and work hard for the sake of hard work can hardly stand the test.

Struggle is a long game, you can't be lonely, let alone go your own way. There must be someone in your heart. That person can be a saint you admire, a friend around you, or even a celebrity you have never met.

Simply put, there must be a reference, whether it is a stone from other mountains or a mirror to know your own length. In short, you must have something to compare with yourself before you know where you need to break through.

The reason why the knife is fast is because there is a millstone; The sky is blue, because it is equivalent to 70% of the earth's oceans. If we want to make progress, we also need a reference.

Learning begins with imitation. Learn calligraphy, don't copy and paste, don't know Lanting Gathering, never heard of Zhang Xu and Huai Su, never seen Wei Bei. How you practice, how you write; Learning martial arts, without learning from teachers, without systematic training, and without knowing how to do it, is just to practice muscles and physical strength, which has nothing to do with kung fu.

Without reference, there is no learning, no progress without learning, only low-level repetition without progress, and diligence loses its meaning. Leonardo da Vinci painted eggs according to them, instead of drawing circles on paper with his head closed.

A rookie, what qualifications are eager for the freedom of the vast sky and enjoy endless fun!

Before Jiang Wen wanted to transform into a director, she was a little uneasy. He made a special trip to Hollywood and asked the great director Parker Lee for advice. Li only gave him one sentence: do it. Don't take this as an answer, it's just a premise. It's definitely impossible not to do it, but it's not necessarily advisable to bury your head in ignorance.

Instead of complaining that you pay more than others and get less than others, it is better to clear your mind and see where the gap between yourself and others is.

Ten years standing still, can't reach the distance; Snails can move ten meters a day. The standard by which society measures a person or rewards a person is never diligence, but progress. Because the former is the process at most, and the latter is the result.

I believe that it is an eternal truth that heaven rewards diligence, but progress is more important than diligence. Diligence without progress is not qualified to ask for rewards. A person who keeps improving, even if he doesn't get what he wants in the end, will never get nothing.

Children who feel that they are working hard have never been rewarded. Don't complain yet Please take a good look at yourself, look at those who have achieved success, and think about whether you have worked hard for many years, but still stay where you are.

Finally, I want to say, Mr. Dai, in fact, many things will pay off as long as you work hard. The key is whether our efforts reflect our progress. Otherwise, even if we have written 10,000 articles and created hundreds of plays, how can we expect success and dreams if the level of writing the first article is no different?

In fact, for everyone, the best dream is not poetry and distance, but continuous progress and progress every day. Do you like this article? Share this article with more people ~
