Paying great attention to the study of tradition, he has made great achievements in Chinese painting, especially flower and bird painting, for his predecessors. Especially in freehand flower and bird painting, the ancient people's interest in pen and ink and artistic conception of the painting have reached an insurmountable peak. Yang Xiangxian's paintings are quiet, subtle and full of fun. He is good at using lines, and with just a few strokes, he can outline the charm of flowers and plants. The colors of his brush and ink are elegant, fresh and clear, beautiful but not charming.
