Canon 70d tutorial

The mode dial can rotate 360 degrees freely with a locking button in the middle. SCN position integrates a variety of scene modes, and there is a single mode (C) for users to set common shutter aperture iso and other data. Most EOS series have a power switch button under them.

Let's take a closer look at the toggle button of the 70D autofocus area selection mode. It is placed in the same position (M-Fn button is equivalent to 7D and 5D Mark III). Press it to repeat the loop in the ever-expanding autofocus point group, so you can quickly switch from a single point to a group of points and use all the cameras automatically selected at 19.

There is an infrared remote control receiver at the front of the handle, which is reasonably behind the lens. The concave lamp next to it is a visual indicator of the selfie timer.

Canon 70D still has a real-time display/short film button. Press the center button switch to start real-time photography.

The 70D has an 8-way control panel for moving the autofocus point, navigating menus, scrolling and playing images. Besides the usual left/right keys and up/down keys, the diagonal is also flexible.

The button with built-in flash is on the side of the lens.

As usual, there is a pentaprism and hot boots at the top, which supports Canon's EX series flash. From the miniature flash 90EX to the high-end flash 600EX-RT, on its sides and the flash that pops up behind it, you can see the grid with built-in stereo microphone in pairs.

The slot of 70D is located on one side of the handle, on the pop-up plastic cover. It supports a single SD/SDHC/SDXC card.

The various interfaces of the camera are on the other side. On the left is rs-60e3 remote control release and stereo microphone socket.

Next to it are USB and HDMI ports. Support the function of remote playback through HDMI link.

At the same time, the speakers built into the fuselage are cleverly hidden under the skin materials of these interfaces.

The 70D uses the same LP-E6 battery 7.2V, 1800mAh. The design is the same as that of most Canon unilateral cameras.

Tripod socket

EOS 70D adopts touch screen technology, which is similar to EOS 650D and 700D. However, it has been greatly improved, especially under strong light, and the space between the screen and the fuselage has been greatly compressed.

The screen can be flipped and rotated to take a selfie, or it can be folded to make the screen inward to increase the protection of the camera.

The screen is touch-sensitive. Recently, Canon's entry-level SLR can easily operate all aspects of the camera through the touch screen. Moreover, there is also a very easy-to-use multi-functional quick Q key and a manual gear that is often used to adjust the aperture, shutter and focal length. When shooting with an optical viewfinder, it may be necessary to use traditional controls as much as possible to complete the operation. But it is really practical and useful for life shooting, such as taking pictures on the spot or shooting with a tripod, allowing you to choose focus, just touching the screen.

There is a high sensitivity setting on the screen, and Canon indicates that gloves are allowed to operate. Besides, if you don't like it. You can turn off the touch screen completely.
