Can an Apple notebook be used as a camera monitor?

Apple laptop has a firewire interface, 1394. Connect a camera monitoring screen with 1394 interface.

But the latest mac seems to have canceled this interface.

Similarly, at present, most of the flash memory and hard disk HD cameras have cancelled the 1394 interface, so there is no way to connect to the laptop.

So your idea is not realistic, and it will cost a lot of money to realize this function.
