Seal script belongs to the Qin Dynasty, and official script belongs to the Han Dynasty. Simuwu Dafang Ding was cast by Zu Geng or Zujia in Shang Dynasty as a sacrifice to his mother. The characters of Shang Dynasty are the earliest mature characters that we can determine now. Shang people mainly used it to engrave messages on animal bones and tortoise slices, so it was called Oracle Bone Inscriptions.
