Which is better, scanning photos with a scanner or remaking them with a digital camera, or the same?
I use both methods, and now I basically don't need to scan. There is an essential reason: CCD of ordinary scanner is not as good as camera.
The problem is that scanning is convenient, and anyone can do it without photography.
There are some things you need to know about remake:
1, it is not possible to remake photos with a handheld camera and a digital camera, so it is either distorted or unclear. Be sure to have a shelf, a small photo and a tripod, and a bigger one can fix the tripod in one position. Note that the camera and the photo are parallel.
2, you can use macro, but you can't use flash. When using artificial lighting, you need two lights on one side, and the light is at a 45-degree angle (there will be no reflection). If you use a lamp to shine, you will see half the light and shade.
3, do manual white balance,: turn on the light, put a piece of white paper to do white balance, remake.
When this is done, put a remake, which is much faster than the scanner and the effect is good.
