This ring road from Urumqi basically covers the most wonderful scenic spots in northern Xinjiang. 1. Urumqi

Urumqi is undoubtedly the heart of Xinjiang, and most people will choose to start their trip to Xinjiang from here. First, they will go to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Museum, where various historical relics of Xinjiang are displayed, including the treasure of the town hall-painted wooden figurines of the heavenly king stepping on ghosts. 2. Karamay

Out of the city, take the G30 Lianhuo Expressway, drive about 80km on the expressway, exit at Wugongtai overpass, turn right at 1.4km, take the S20 1 provincial highway to Karamay, and the whole journey is 3 16km. Half a century later, Karamay has changed from a barren land to a modern city.

Located on the south side of Shengli Road, Ke No.1 Well Site became the symbol of the birth of Karamay Oilfield and the origin of Xinjiang petroleum. Today, Ke No.1 well site is covered with a huge stainless steel sphere, and there are lights at night. If you go to Karamay in August, don't miss the Karamay Water Festival held in early August every year. Jiuge Music Festival is a part of Songkran Festival. You can hear the original music works of Xinjiang local independent bands, which usually last for 3-4 days.

3. Wuerhe World Ghost Town

From the urban area to the east, via the East Outer Ring Road and Baike Road, take the G2 17 National Road for 92km, and you can reach the world-famous ghost town in Wuerhe District (6: 30 ~ 2 1: 30 in summer and 10: 30 ~ 18: 30 in winter).

Hundreds of millions of years ago, it used to be a huge lake. After wind erosion and water carving, today's unique sculpture-like Ya Dan landform has been formed. The total length of roads in the scenic spot is 9.8 kilometers, and there are not many bus stops. If you are physically strong, you might as well go hiking. Fans can also go to see the shooting places of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Seven Swords Down the Tianshan Mountains, and Su Wu Shepherd.

4. Brzin

Leave Wuerhe District, take G30 14 Kuia Expressway from Wuerhe Toll Station, and after128km, get off at Bayin Taohai overpass. Get on G2 17 National Highway,100km and then arrive at Burqin County. Most people will regard Brzin as an outpost into Kanas. This town is beautiful and comfortable. Whether it is a "European style" building or a flower sculpture on the street, it will give you a refreshing feeling.

Rainbow Beach is the highlight here. It has undulating colorful Ya Dan landforms. The scenic spot is located along the highway on the north bank of Irtysh River. A long plank road is paved in colorful Ya Dan, and there are several observation platforms from different angles on the plank road. Every day at sunset, the plank road will be crowded with people watching colorful rainbow beaches in the afterglow.

5. Jia Dengyu

From Brzin to the ticket office of Kanas National Forest Park in Gadengyu, first drive along the S227 provincial road for about 6 kilometers, then turn right after seeing the sign of "Habahe, Kanas", and then follow the S232 provincial road 135 kilometers to Kanas. On the way through Baisha Mountain Scenic Area, you can ride a camel and drive to Shashan. After about 70 kilometers, you will pass through the tourist trade market in Chonghuer Town, and you can stop and have a rest.

Jiadengyu is an intermountain basin surrounded by spruce and larch, and is regarded as the gateway of Kanas scenic spot. You can drive to the ticket booth to buy a ticket for Kanas, and your car can only be parked here (10 yuan, but it's very safe, so you can start your fantasy journey to your heart's content. It's about 29 kilometers from Kadenyu Ticket Office to Kanas Transfer Center, and you can only take the scenic shuttle bus (8: 00 ~19: 30; Round trip to 90 yuan; Stop at Wolong Bay, Shenxian Bay and Moon Bay. It takes 50 ~ 60 minutes for the shuttle bus to travel along the S232 provincial highway. In recent years, after 10 and 15, self-driving cars are allowed to enter the scenic spot. However, roads are often blocked by heavy snow in winter, and driving by car is very dangerous. You must have snow driving experience and an off-road vehicle to try.

Kanas between mountains and rivers is the most popular scenic spot in northern Xinjiang, and the rumor of "Lake Monster" made it famous in one fell swoop. But just looking at the color of Kanas Lake is enough to shock you.

Lake water will show different colors such as blue, cyan, emerald, dark green and milk green in different seasons. After entering September, golden birch leaves, apricot larch, flaming European aspen and evergreen pine and cypress stand in a fairytale world.

The tour can be divided into Kanas River and Kanas Lake. Wolong Bay, Moon Bay and Shenxian Bay belong to the three major landscapes of Kanas River. Get off at Wolong Bay, walk north along the river valley plank road and visit three scenic spots, 5.4 kilometers one way. The scenery along the way is good. Wolong Bay is the first stop after entering the scenic spot by shuttle bus from Jiadengyu. This section of the river is very wide, with a beach in the middle.

Walk 2.2 kilometers north along the river from the plank road next to Wolong Bay, where an S-shaped bend is formed at the bend of the river, like a crescent moon falling into the valley. There are two footprints on the shoal north of the bend of the river, which are called "footprints of Genghis Khan".

From Moon Bay, walk 3.2 kilometers north along the plank road, and you will reach the most famous Shenxian Bay where you can see the morning fog. Shenxian Bay is the widest part of Kanas River (700 meters). The current is gentle, and there are large swamps and grasslands along the river bank. The river is littered with seemingly connected and broken islands. This island is a combination of spruce and larch. In the fog, mountain scenery, lake water and trees set each other off, giving people a feeling of being in a fairyland.

You can also go northbound along the plank road 1.2km from Shenxian Bay to Yaze Lake to see wild ducks, geese and swans inhabiting the surrounding marshes and grasslands. The bus doesn't stop here, so you can only walk. It's about 2.5 kilometers from here to the transfer center. There is a free shuttle bus from the transfer center to Kanas Lake (8: 00 ~ 20: 00). Walking along the lake is a more relaxed and comfortable way to visit.

The best place to see Kanas Lake is the fish-watching platform, which is located on Cararat Mountain at an altitude of 2056 meters. You can enjoy the sunrise and the sea of clouds in the morning. With luck, you may see the Buddha's light in the morning after the rain. The shuttle bus to the fish observation platform is extra charged (9: 00 ~18: 30; Round trip 120 yuan.

From Kanas Lake to Baihaba Village, you can buy a transportation ticket for Baihaba at the transfer center (9: 30 ~17: 30; One-way 40 yuan, round trip to 80 yuan, 32km, about 1 hour by car.

You need a border pass to go to Baihaba. You can go to the scenic public security bureau next to the tourist service center with your ID card (9: 00 ~ 19: 30). The cost 1 yuan can only be done on the same day.

Baihaba village, known as "the first village in northwest China" (May to June 65438+1October15; Ticket 50 yuan is at the northernmost tip of China, and 1.5km away is the border between China and Kazakstan. In late autumn, white haba, birch, larch and poplar leaves gradually turn from golden to red, which is a fairy-tale border town. The sunset on the hillside behind the old village is beautiful. There is a "golden avenue" behind the old village in autumn (in front of Mongolian primary school, birch trees on both sides of the street form a golden arcade, and the ground is covered with a thick "golden carpet".

8. Harmony

Harmony Township is divided into Harmony Village, Harmony Village, Harmony Village and Harmony Villa. Shangcun and Xiacun are the core areas, and they are also the concentrated areas for eating and living. The locals collectively refer to the old village. I'm afraid I will be disappointed if I deliberately look for scenic spots in harmony, but there are things to see everywhere in this village. The highest mountain in the north of Harmony Village is Meili Peak. There is a village on the top of the mountain, with only a dozen Kazakh families. In July, wild flowers are everywhere.

On the hillside on the north bank of Harmony River, there is an observation deck for shooting Harmony Valley and morning fog. There are bridges in Xiacun and Xincun, and there is a walking plank road leading to the observation deck when crossing the bridge. The scenery in a harmonious morning is beautiful and cold, so you should calculate the time before going out. The sun rises at about 7:30 and the fog clears at 8:00. It takes at most half an hour to walk from the old village to the observation deck, but if you want a good shooting position, you have to arrive ahead of time.

9. Cocotohai Town

Return to Brzin from Harmony, then take G2 17 national highway to the south for about 6 kilometers, drive S3 19 provincial highway to the left at the fork, and drive east for about 80 kilometers to enter Beitun City. Go through the urban area of Beitun, drive along G2 16 National Road for about 15 1 km, then turn left and drive along S226 Provincial Road for about 98 km to reach Keketuohai Town.

The history of Cocotohai Town is not long. After the discovery of mineral resources in the 20th century, the first residents began to move in, and now it has evolved into a tourist town. The town is full of shops that can't tell the good from the bad. Aquamarine and tourmaline are local characteristics. Drive 5 kilometers along Y235 township road in the east of the town of Cocotohai, and you will arrive at the Irtysh Grand Canyon. You need to take a shuttle bus to enter the scenic spot. The terminal is Shenzhong Mountain, which is 7 kilometers away from the canyon/kloc-0. The Grand Canyon is more than 70 kilometers long, and the granite peaks face each other along the river. The shape of Shenzhong Mountain is like a huge clock, and its surface is steep and smooth. There is a plank road opposite the observation deck on the mountainside, which is a good angle to shoot Shen Chong.

10. Colorful City

From Keketuohai Town to the south, drive along the S226 provincial highway for 95km, get on the G2 16 national highway, drive south for about 240km, then you can see the road sign of "Colorful City", turn right, drive along the Z555 highway 1 1km, and arrive at the Tourist Service Center of Colorful City.

Colorful Bay generally refers to a large hilly area near G2 16 National Highway. The colorful city on the east side of Junggar basin is the core of colorful bay, with a large number of colorful mountains of different sizes, mainly scarlet, with layers of gold, gray and brown. Colorful Bay's fantastic scenery has attracted many photographers, and film and television works such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon have also been filmed here.

After driving into the gate, you can only drive on paved scenic roads, and you can't drive to Gobi at will. Arrive at the parking lot after about 15km. After parking, walk along the plank road to the colorful central observation deck on the hillside. The best time to visit is before sunset. When the sun sets, standing on the observation deck, you can see that the whole hill changes from pink gold to pink, and finally becomes a deep red like a flame.

Return to G2 16 Expressway from Cai Wu City, turn right and drive south for 69 kilometers, then turn right 1 kilometer to reach Guhai Hot Spring in Cai Wu Bay. On the right side of the road, is the scenery of Yamakaji, which is a red ochre mountain composed of sintered rocks, colorful in the morning and evening. The whole journey is 8 1 km. The ancient sea hot spring in Wucaiwan, located in Gurbantonggut Desert, is said to be the ancient sea sedimentary water from deep underground, with the outlet temperature as high as 75℃. Hot springs are divided into one big pool and four small pools. It is very pleasant to watch the stars in the water at night and enjoy the snowflakes falling on the water in winter.
