The Central Academy of Fine Arts is the only directly affiliated art college in People's Republic of China (PRC). There are eight professional branches, namely, School of Modeling, School of Traditional Chinese Painting, School of Humanities, School of Architecture, School of Design, School of Urban Design, School of Experimental Art, School of Art Management and Education, School of Plastic Arts, School of Continuing Education and affiliated secondary art schools.
