The screenplay is adapted from the short stories "The Age of Innocence" and "The Red Swimsuit" by Shao Wu writer Huang Shu. The script to be used was adapted by Huang Shu himself, and the work book was revised by the director during filming.

Most of the scenes in the film were shot in Shaikou Coal Mine, Shaowu City, Fujian Province, where buildings from the 1950s and 1960s were preserved.

Before shooting, the photographer implicitly expressed his unfamiliarity with steadicam stabilizer, so the crew invited an assistant photographer to take charge of the back stabilizer. At first, everyone was happy and relaxed, but in the end, everyone found it more difficult, because some young actors lacked experience and could not finish the scheduling, so everyone could only accompany them one by one.

The opening scene of the mountain road was taken at the end of the game, because the old liberation car had to be towed from Hengdian to Shaowu by trailer. This scene was filmed all day. First of all, the shooting plan is complicated. During the filming, it takes three people's hands to get off the truck and install a lifting platform 50 meters away. Second, the old liberation collapsed just after two performances. I struggled for a long time and didn't fix it until the director said to come back tomorrow, and the old liberation was on fire again. The first five items failed, because it is inevitable that the camera will shake when it is stuck in the pan/tilt. It was not until the sixth camera happened to be stuck in the Yuntai that the director said it was acceptable. There is no sound in the sixth picture, because the first five sound engineers and assistants have been running with the car for at least seven or eight kilometers, and they really can't run. When the camera falls, you will find a canvas at Mr. Gu's feet, and the photography and photography assistant are hidden under it.

Many photos were taken at the scene of moving to a new house, because it is difficult for individual actors to put their positions right, and it is easy for people who move furniture to touch the camera. After hearing Guo, the assistant photographer took off the stabilizer and knelt down.

There are only eight and a half straight rails in the group. When Gu Jun met the second child on the bridge, all the staff in the group were busy following the two ends of the track, and the effect of more than 20 straight tracks was completed.

Shao Yong filmed more than five firewood chopping scenes. At first, the firewood prepared by props was difficult to split, but later it was too dry and cracked at the touch. In fact, Cao Lu is very skilled at chopping wood, and he is as skilled as paper.

In the film, the actress's seersucker swimsuit was sewn by costume director Hu Yan. Teacher Hu is the makeup artist of the 87th edition of Dream of Red Mansions, and also the royal makeup artist.

The actress who initially decided to play Xia didn't say that she couldn't swim until Jiangli, so the crew had to buy tickets to let her go back to Beijing. Xia is actually played by the director of Shaowu TV Station. Because her swimming is as good as Mandarin, she was temporarily accepted by the crew. But Fang Dao was worried that her figure was not good enough, and the director kept coaxing her into the river. Fang's scene was finished in an afternoon, and then she claimed to be a rescuer and refused to get paid. In the end, the crew could only give her a red envelope.

Considering safety, most of the people swimming in the river are players.

Before filming the scene where Dai Lu dyed the sweatshirt, the director suggested that middle school students in that era should not have modern bras, so he suggested that Dai Lu take off his bra after wrapping it with plastic wrap. Dai Lu resolutely opposed it and proposed a strike. At least 20 shots were taken in this scene, because the bra straps will be exposed when crossing the road.

There are many scenes of students going to the countryside, either the old liberation turned off their phones or the children watched the camera, but every scene of Zhao was full of tears, although she knew that the farewell was too loose to see her face clearly.

Shao Yong accidentally bumped into something when he caught the chicken and returned it to Gu Jun. This action is reserved.

When my younger brother took Shao Yong to spy on Gu Jun going down the river, the swift river at their feet suddenly rose while avoiding it. Two actors lost several pairs of shoes for this shot.

Zhangyan and Long Chun Mu, parents-caring actors, have been telling young actors about their lives in the mid-1970s to help them find the sense of character in that era.

Zhangyan has many lines, most of which are quarrels. After work, everyone can often hear her shouting in the room.

There were two versions before the final edition of Flashback Fine Shear, one of which only explained the reason of negative film, and the other combined several contacts between Gu Jun and Shao Yong. The director worried that the latter was slightly deliberate and preferred the simplicity of the former, but finally chose the latter.

At the end of the original script, Gu Jun taught Shao Yong to swim in memory of her diving. Before starting, Yanting Li deleted the scene. During the filming, he only conveyed the intention of the ending to the main creator, and told Dai Lu that Gu Jun would have lines when he surfaced. It was not until this scene was filmed that Yanting Li told everyone the details of the whole scene, and told Dai to say only three words after he emerged from the water, and not to go.

The scene of the launch was shot twice. The first time I took a photo, I found that I couldn't see the viewfinder after wearing a diving suit and counterweight. When I watched the replay, I found that there were no two actors in the picture at the same time. After that, it was cloudy, and it was even harder to show people without direct sunlight. The next day, everyone came to the river again and finished shooting this scene when the sun was at its best.

The lighting engineer of the whole play is embarrassed because the picture range is relatively large and there is almost no lighting.

There are less than 90 shots in the whole film.

The film editing starts at ten o'clock in the morning. After lunch, Yanting Li said no problem. Let's watch it again.

When the film was submitted for trial, it was named Early Summer. Later, I learned that there was a record movie with the same name, so I had to change my name.

After the review, it was revised, and the lines after my dad slapped Gu Jun were cut off.

The film was shot in Shaowu from the end of September 2011to the beginning of October, mixed recording was completed at the end of June 201/kloc-0, and the film channel premiered in June 20 12.
