There are 13 peaks in Yulong Snow Mountain, which are vertically arranged from south to north, stretching nearly 35 kilometers from east to west and about 25 kilometers wide. Yulong Snow Mountain is not only magnificent, but also beautiful and straight, beautifully shaped, crystal clear as jade, as bright as thirteen swords. Against the blue sky, it flies forever like a silver jade dragon, hence the name Yulong Mountain. Because the lithology of Yulong Snow Mountain is mainly limestone and basalt, which is black and white, it is also called "black and white snow mountain".

Attractive place

① Cableway: Up to 4,680 meters above sea level, it is the best choice to watch the glacier clean snow-capped mountains at close range. (temporarily closed)

② Yunshan Ping Cableway: At an altitude of 3,240 meters, you can see dense spruce forests and alpine meadows. It is called Little Switzerland in Lijiang and is very beautiful. Yunshan Ping is popular, with many people and long queues, but the journey time of Yunshan Ping is not as far as that of Maoniuping.

③ Maoniuping cableway: at an altitude of 3,800 meters, it is the best place to watch the Thirteen Peaks of Yulong, and it is also the favorite place for photographers to take pictures. Maoniuping is very big, and its altitude is higher than Yunshan Ping. There are snow-capped mountains, grasslands, snowflake temples, colorful flags and forests.

④ Blue Moon Valley: Take the bus directly from Yunshan Ping or Maoniuping Scenic Area and get off at Blue Moon Valley. The Blue Moon Valley will look better with sunshine before 3 pm!
