Composition skills of children photography

Lead: I believe many people have also been to the Railway Museum to take pictures of children! Although there is not much space there, the tracks and trains in the museum are really a good shooting point! So what should we pay attention to when taking pictures and composing pictures? Let me share my experience!

1. Inverted composition, parallel shooting

When shooting the rails, we can take a straight composition and center the rails evenly, which can make the lines of the rails more prominent. In addition, when shooting, be sure to make the lens level or lower than the child's eyes (that is, don't stand and shoot), so that the photo can be more stereoscopic, promising and background.

2. Take pictures of the whole body.

In addition, although we like photos with large aperture and shallow depth of field, sometimes we can't always have big aperture and big head, otherwise the whole photo will be exactly the same, and because the background is too foggy, people don't know where you have been after reading the photos! Therefore, if I want to take a full-length photo with a large field of view, my aperture will not be greater than f/2.8 unless I want a shallow field of view effect. (For reference only, depending on the environment. )

3. Large aperture local close-up

In addition to shooting the whole body, we can also highlight some local close-ups, objects or actions with a large aperture, which adds a lot of color to the whole set of photos.

4. Shoot drama scenes and highlight lines

Besides, it is located on the left side of the museum. There are fewer people because there are no trains there. Try to shoot children playing on the railway and highlight the lines of the rails as much as possible.

Shoot with a wide-angle lens

On the train, you can use a wide-angle focal length (such as about 24mm) to absorb as many lines and ancient equipment as possible. Because the light in the car is dark, so try to improve ISO and reduce the need to use flash. Because I think if the flash is used improperly, the taste of the photo will be greatly reduced. (Except for advanced flash users, of course ~)

In fact, there are many other places that are beautiful and easy to compose music, but here I am already clamouring for ice cream? So, can we wait till next time?
