Wuhan is located in the east of Hubei Province, where the Yangtze River meets the Hanshui River. Its geographical position is 29 58 ′-3122 ′ north latitude and113 41′-kloc-0/505 ′ east longitude.

The maximum horizontal distance from east to west is 134km, and the maximum vertical distance from north to south is about 155km. The easternmost part is located in Jiangjun Village, Xugu Street, Xinzhou District, the westernmost part is located in Guoguang Village, Aizi Street, caidian district, the southernmost part is located in Junbao Village, Hu Si Street, Jiangxia District, and the northernmost part is located in Li Chong Village, Caidian Street, huangpi district.
