Five skills of sunset photography
1. Let the sunset turn red
When the weather is clear, or when the storm comes, the sky will be magnificent and it is easy to photograph the fiery sunset. But if there is no magic color in the sky on weekdays, we can also adjust the white balance of the camera to a higher value or turn on the flash to warm the color. Although it may not turn red, it will at least bring out the feeling of sunset.
Adjust the white balance better, or increase the saturation in the camera's image settings, so the color will stand out! Another point is that you can reduce the exposure when shooting, and try not to overexpose, otherwise the sky will turn white and the round sun will not be seen.
Use white balance and saturation to make the picture redder.

Photographing the composition of the sun
There are two main points in composition:
If the sun is the protagonist, it can be placed on the midline;
If the sun is just a foil, it can be placed at the intersection of the trisection.
If the sun is a foil, you can put it aside.
3. Elements contained in the picture
Don't just shoot the sun! This will make the picture dull. A better way is to find something to set off, such as the silhouette of the grass, shells on the beach, and even clouds in the sky, which can also enrich your photos.
Sometimes you can turn the sunset into a foil, focus on other subjects, and use the large aperture and shallow depth of field to atomize the red sun!
Try to use clouds in the sky as a foil.

Shoot a bigger sunset
Wide-angle lens is often used to shoot scenery, but if you want to make the sunset bigger and more imposing, you can try to shoot with a telephoto lens (more than 200mm), because the foreground and background are compressed, so the sun will look bigger!

5. Balance the light differences to make the photos more professional.
Unless you want to take a backlight or silhouette photo, it is strongly recommended that you use a gradient gray filter or a black card (if the exposure time is enough) to balance the light difference, so that the details of the ground will be revealed and you can take more professional photos!
