What's in the photographer's bag?

The camera bag is not only used to protect the camera, but also convenient for you to carry the basic accessories you need when shooting. Taking time to put some suitable tools in your bag can save you time, money and trouble at work. The more complete the spare parts in the camera bag, the less trouble you will encounter in the shooting process. So what do you need to bring in your camera bag? Below we list the necessary spare parts for every well-equipped photographer:

I. Headphones

We always recommend using headphones when shooting. If your camera has a headphone jack, you must use it. A good pair of headphones can make you listen to subtle sounds when shooting, and avoid destroying the perfection of the shooting picture because of some small noises.

Two. Wireless neck microphone

The wireless neck microphone can keep your interviewee at a certain distance from the camera, and this little thing will not distract him too much.

Roman numeral 3 .. cable

Don't forget to bring the cable connecting the microphone and the camera. Many photographers prepare at least two: a long one and a short one. Wrap it properly and don't curl it. If you take good care of them, they can last a long time.

Four. Handheld wired microphone

Usually, the sound received by the microphone on the camera is not clear, and only a small orientation adjustment can be made. Handheld microphone is an essential tool for guest interviews, live reports and other camera scenes.

Transmission adapter

In order to input/output audio and video signals to the camera, you need to prepare adapters suitable for different situations. A well-equipped photographer will always prepare an adapter for all possible situations. It is cheap and can be sealed with plastic tape and put in the pocket on the side of the camera bag. For example, many shooting jobs have to be stopped because of the lack of an adapter that only costs two yuan, so don't forget to bring the adapter to prevent similar things from happening to you.

standard cell

If your microphone and other equipment are powered by batteries, you should have a spare battery. And pay attention to regular replacement or charging to ensure sufficient electricity. You know, a used-up 9-volt battery is likely to affect the work of the wireless microphone, leading to an important shooting activity ending hastily.

Roman numeral 7 .. camera battery

There is always a fully charged camera battery in your bag. You don't know when a shooting activity will end and when the battery will run out. So put two spare batteries in the camera bag just in case.

VIII. Blank video tape

One or two blank tapes need to be prepared when you need or suddenly receive instructions to shoot again during shooting. You can't have a lot of equipment in your bag. Once the spare parts are used up, they can be replenished immediately.

Nine. Labels and pens

I don't think you want to spend an hour rewinding to find a specific shot. Making some labels can save time. Put a soft-headed marker and label in your bag and put them with the video. In addition, some photographers will bring a roll of masking tape as a label.

X. white card

White balance cards are necessary if you don't want ugly shadows on every object's face. Of course, you can simply use a handkerchief, a piece of white paper or a foam board instead.

Xi。 mirror

The adjustable reflector allows you to flexibly adjust the reflected light to better illuminate the object you want to shoot. If necessary, you can also use the reflector or aluminum foil on the windshield of the car for emergency.

Roman numerals 12 ... lens filter

Carrying a polarizing filter with you can reduce the influence of reflected light and direct glare (especially when shooting on water or near the water). Other filters can improve the picture quality. For example, you can strengthen the color when shooting the sunset; Soft luster can be added when shooting romantic scenes. Filters are cheap, but they definitely work.

Roman numerals 13 ... auxiliary lights

Installing lighting on the camera can help you finish the shooting task better at the appointed time under the condition that the ambient light is not good enough to change.

Roman numerals 14 ... lens paper

Bring some lens paper or brushes to clean the dust, dirt and moisture on the lens. Don't wipe with tissue or shirt sleeves, which may seriously scratch the lens.

Fifteen. cosmetics

If you want to hide the dazzling light on the subject's forehead or make up for some defects, makeup is a must, so you should at least prepare some solid foundation.

XVI. Power supply

As long as it is convenient to find the power socket, use the power socket to save the battery.

Roman numerals 17 ... electrical tape

A wide roll of electrical tape should also be prepared at hand. You can wrap the cable with tape (if it is wrapped in a corner, it is also very convenient to use), so that people will not trip. Of course, adhesive tape can also be used to report that your power cord plug can't even reach the nearest power outlet.

Roman numeral 18 ... power socket

The six-hole socket is very suitable for some typical shooting jobs. It can power cameras, monitors and one or two photographic lights.

Roman numerals 19 ... rain gear

If you want to shoot outdoors, it's a good idea to bring a soft plastic cover to protect your camera when the weather changes suddenly. Don't spend money to protect the rain gear. Some photographers just find a big refrigerated bag to wrap it up, which doesn't take up much space in the camera bag.
