The box office of Hello China disappointed the audience. Is it really worth seeing?

Hello, Zhihua is an excellent art cinema, which is worth seeing.

Hello, China is an art film written and directed by Japanese director Shunji Iwai, starring Zhou Xun and Qin Hao. The film tells the story of past entanglements caused by correspondence. Zhou Xun plays the heroine Hua, and Zhihua is the key figure to uncover the story entanglement of three generations.

Hua in the play went to the junior high school reunion instead of her dead sister Nan. When she met Yin Chuan, a senior whom she admired at that time, she wrote to each other in the name of her sister, thus uncovering their emotional entanglements. In the play, Zhou Xun's acting skills are very good, and China, who is somewhat stubborn and self-abased, is vividly interpreted. Although there is no exaggerated emotional expression plot, it allows us to see the context under a calm face.

Hello Zhihua may be a challenge for the audience who are not used to watching Japanese dramas, because the whole movie has a slow pace and no climax support, and tells us stories in the form of eloquence. It may be hard for viewers who are used to watching fast-paced and climactic American TV dramas to accept.
