Specialty: The Department of Petroleum Engineering offers four major petroleum majors: drilling technology, oil and gas exploitation technology, oil and gas storage and transportation technology and petroleum engineering technology.
Faculty: Petroleum Engineering Department has a strong faculty, including 35 full-time teachers, professional teachers 19, 4 associate professors or above, lecturers 10, 8 masters or above, and double-qualified teachers 15.
Training base: Petroleum engineering training base is listed as "National Demonstration Training Base for Vocational Education and Training in Petroleum Industry" by China Petrochemical Association.
