Junior high school composition under the influence of explorers

The shock caused by the tragic death of the famous adventure traveler Yu Chunshun in Lop Nur, Xinjiang has not subsided to this day. The author of this article experienced the whole process of accompanying, searching and burying Yu Chunshun. In January and February this year, I entered Lop Nur twice more and paid my respects to the tomb of Yu Chunshun, who was buried in a dry lake basin.

On June 18, 1996, the news of "Explorer Yu Chunshun died in Lop Nur" was reported by "People's Daily" (overseas edition), "Xinjiang Daily", "China Youth Daily" and other newspapers. "Xinhua News Agency, Urumqi, June 18" was published on the headline.

As an explorer in the Lop Nur area and the general manager of the Xinjiang Bayingol Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture International Travel Service, Wu Shiguang has led Chinese and foreign explorers, scientists and archaeologists through Lop Nur, Loulan and other places 17 times. He has received Yu Chunshun four times and has become Yu Chunshun's close friend. Two days before entering the new century, he described to the author the details of his personal burial of Yu Chunshun, many of which are rarely known.

Yu Chunshun left Korla and entered Lop Nur on June 6, 1996. The day I buried him was June 18th.

On the evening of June 15, I was having dinner at the home of a relative and friend in Tiekeqi Township, dozens of kilometers away from Korla City. The pager on my waist rang. There was a message on it: Something happened in Lop Nur, please come back quickly. . What happened? I was very anxious. I rushed back to my work unit before finishing my meal, only to find out that Yu Chunshun suddenly disappeared after entering Lop Nur and lost all contact with him. I immediately turned on the radio and asked around, but got no news. At this time, the state leaders were also very anxious and held a meeting to study and try every means to find Yu Chunshun. That night, I drafted an urgent telegram and sent it to Urumqi in the name of the state government, requesting the Autonomous Region People's Government to rescue and help us find Yu Chunshun.

The next morning, I led a small car and a large car to Lop Nur. Along with me was Yang Hong, the photographer of our company. After trekking hard for a day and night, we arrived at the forward bridge leading to the base camp at the forefront of Lop Nur. At this time, with the care of the people's government of the autonomous region and the state government, a plane from an aviation unit of the army just flew back here. The plane has flown into the Lop Nur area twice to conduct searches, but has found no trace of Yu Chunshun. Captain Sun Gang personally flew the plane to participate in the search for Pengjiam, and has accumulated certain experience in flying in the Taklimakan Desert and Lop Nur area. After two flights to Lop Nur, he did not see any human traces or suspicious objects, so he decided to fly to Lop Nur for the third time. This time he flew as low as possible and circled many times at low altitude. After about two hours, he discovered a fan-shaped blue tent-like thing in the shade of a barren hill in the center of Lop Nur. However, as the fuel was running low, the plane had to return immediately to refuel, and soon took off, flying into Lop Nur for the fourth time.
