What is the role of Nikon KeyMission80' s route shooting mode?

When Nikon KeyMission80 selects the route shooting mode, it will record still images or animations. If still images are selected, the camera will take 100 images within the specified shooting time. When the animation mode is selected, this function automatically records 10 animations of about 3 seconds within the specified time period and synthesizes them into an animation of about 30 seconds. When shooting a still image in the route photography mode, the image size is limited to about 2 million pixels.
