This paper introduces an efficient digital mapping system based on photogrammetry database, which consists of four subsystems: data acquisition, graphic editing and processing, drawing data processing and database management as the main body. Users can collect data on domestic analytical mapping instrument APS-1 and digitized analog mapping instrument, form 1: 5, photogrammetry database data through interactive graphic editing and photogrammetry processing, and output line topographic map, which has the function of checking and accepting the database data. In addition, this paper also studies some algorithms of contour interpolation, and forms a practical contour interpolation software package.
