Fujian has 9 prefecture-level cities; 26 municipal districts, 14 county-level cities and 45 counties. They are Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Longyan, Nanping, Ningde, Putian, Sanming and Zhangzhou.

Fujian, for short, is located in the southeast coast of China, bordering Zhejiang Province in the northeast, Jiangxi Province in the west and northwest, Guangdong Province in the southwest, and Taiwan Province Province across the Taiwan Province Strait in the east. The longest is 530 kilometers from north to south and the widest is 480 kilometers from east to west. The provincial capital is Fuzhou.

Compared with other cities in the province, Longyan has convenient transportation, with bullet trains connecting Shanghai and Nanjing in the north and Shantou and Shenzhen in the south. Longyan's transportation hub function has played a very powerful role.

2. Xiamen is located at the southeast end of Fujian Province, bordering Zhangzhou in the west, Nan 'an and Jinjiang in the north, and facing Jinmen and Dadan Island across the sea in the southeast. It is a major city in southern Fujian. Together with Zhangzhou and Quanzhou, it is called Xiamen-Zhang Quan Minnan Golden Triangle Economic Zone.
