Its characteristics, like its name, are softer and less contrasted, which can soften the skin of characters and is generally suitable for shooting female portraits.

? Butterfly light? This is a main light distribution method, but it also has some shortcomings and limitations. First of all, it is difficult for Asian black hair to show rich details when photographed in this way of illumination; Secondly, although soft skin without light and shadow changes is eye-catching, it lacks realism and is easy to give people a flashy and sweet visual experience.

2. The creation of side single lights and headlights that emphasize three-dimensional sense.

In the last example, two flashlights and a soft light box were used to take sweet portrait photos, but another result of plane lighting effect was that the three-dimensional sense of the characters was not strong. In this example, the photographer uses a flash and a soft box to illuminate from the front. In this way, the light-receiving surface of the character is uneven, which can produce a strong three-dimensional sense.

At the same time, the photographer also set a flash for the model to brighten her hair. Head lighting is a kind of effect light, usually made of hard light. Asian black hair is often overlooked when it is photographed in the shed, resulting in a dead black with no details. Therefore, it is more important to build a headlight. In this example, the photographer set up a high-altitude flash with a standard cover at the right rear of the model, which shines in the direction of the model's head, creating a highlight and reflection effect of the model's hair in the picture.

3. Create a highlight background with a soft box.

This high-profile shooting method is very interesting: the photographer guides the model to lean against a big soft box, and at the same time sets up another big soft box in front of the model, with the first soft box and the subsequent flash as the background, and the soft box of the other flash? Face to face? . When the photographer presses the shutter, the camera flashes the flash behind the model through the flasher, and the soft box becomes the pure background in the picture under the strong light.

This way of lighting can express the feeling of sacredness and mystery. There are two points to note. First, this light distribution method requires higher lens quality for photographers. Secondly, this lighting method is not conducive to the expression of colorful shooting themes.

4. Double lamps generate the first light, and single lamp constitutes the front light.

The directivity of hard light and its characteristics of outlining the lines of people and objects can also create the head light of people. In this case, the photographer uses two flashlights to project strong light from the back of the figure at a certain angle, which effectively creates the golden head light of the model and makes the outline of the figure clearer and more three-dimensional. At the same time, on the front of the figure, the photographer uses the third flash with a soft box to fill the front of the figure and depict the facial details of the figure.

This light distribution method is more complicated. In order to better show the head light, the photographer should set the position of the two flashlights behind the characters higher. In the choice of lens, we must choose a lens with excellent anti-glare quality and assemble a suitable hood to prevent the dazzling light from the rear flash from entering the lens and affecting the image quality of digital photos.

5. Combination of main and auxiliary lights and application of reflector.
