Infrared photographic equipment

1, digital camera

Almost all digital cameras can take infrared photos. The difference is that different cameras have different exposure time because of the different ability of low-pass filter to block infrared. At the same time, the same filter may get different effects on different bodies.

2, infrared photography filter

Common infrared photographic filters are 590nm, 630nm, 680nm, 720nm, 760nm, 850nm and 950nm. What do these filters with different wavelengths mean? For example, the 850nm infrared filter, that is to say, this filter prevents light below the 850nm band from entering, and only allows infrared light above the 850nm band to enter, thus blocking visible light and infrared light below the 850nm wavelength. Infrared filters at 630nm, 680nm and 720nm can let some visible light in and mix with infrared light to form images, so interesting color semi-infrared photos can be taken. 850nm and 950nm infrared photographic filters take pure infrared photos, which are suitable for later conversion to black and white effects.
