Cui Guoqing, born in November 1955, is a native of Changchun, Jilin. He is an editor and reviewer and the dean of the School of Communication of Jilin Animation University. Graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Jilin University in 1982 with a bachelor's degree in literature. After graduation, he stayed at the school to work, serving as editor-in-chief of the Jilin University magazine and secretary of the Jilin University Party Committee Office. Later he was transferred to the Propaganda Department of Jilin Provincial Party Committee and served as deputy division level inspector.

Cui Guoqing has been passionate about literature since childhood and has extensively read Chinese and foreign literary classics. When he was in the third grade of elementary school, one of his works was published in the Kyrgyzstan Railway Workers' Newspaper, and he decided to become a writer. After entering university, he absorbed rich creative nourishment from Chinese classical literature. During college and after he started working, he was diligent in writing and published many film and television reviews, essays, essays, novels, news, communications, reportage and other works in newspapers and magazines, totaling more than 500,000 words.

He has published a personal monograph and prose reportage collection "Hundred Pictures of the World" (published by Times Literature and Art Publishing House), and a collection of essays "The Red and Black World" (published by Jilin Education Press); co-edited He has published the science and technology book "Handbook of New Scientific Knowledge" (published by Jilin University Press), and served as the screenwriter of the TV series "Water, Water". The play won the first prize for artistic works awarded by the Ministry of Construction.
