What's the name of the finless porpoise? Jiang pig? This is not because it looks like a pig, but because it looks like a fish. Its body is gray-black, about 1.2 to 1.6 meters long, with short head, small eyes, flat tail and no dorsal fin. Now it is mainly distributed in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake. It has a long history of birth. Judging from its family origin, it has existed for 654.38+ten thousand years, which is very old. However, with the development of urbanization, economic construction and overfishing, the ecological environment of finless porpoise has been destroyed, and its living place has gradually decreased. The number of finless porpoises is less than 2000, which is on the verge of extinction and has been listed as a national protected animal species.

In fact, finless porpoises have a wide range of adaptation to water temperature and strong adaptability. From 4℃ to 20℃, finless porpoises can adapt and live normally. Temperament, the finless porpoise is lively and active, and likes to roll, jump, nod, spray water and suddenly turn around in the water. If you meet it in the water, it is also a great and interesting thing. Like many creatures, finless porpoises are easily frightened. If frightened, finless porpoises will swim quickly and empty their bodies once or several times in a row. Only the tail leaves swim in the water. When swimming upright, two-thirds of their bodies are perpendicular to the water. It is extremely rare for finless porpoises to maintain this swimming posture for a few seconds.
