How to turn on the pre-lifting function of Nikon D750 reflector?

How to turn on the pre-lift function: There is a focus prompt area in the lower left corner of the viewfinder. Rotate the focus ring. Pre-lifting of the mirror is usually selected in shooting mode. Press the reflector to pre-lift, and then shoot. Then turn the dial below the mode dial to MUP. When using, first press the shutter to focus, press the shutter to focus well, then the reflector will be pre-raised, and then press the shutter to take pictures.

Pre-lifting of reflector has a function of "pre-lifting of reflector" in camera settings, which is one of the effective means to improve the image definition and reduce the mechanical vibration caused by mirror rising during shooting. Generally, when taking telephoto or macro photography, it is used with tripod and cable release to improve the clarity of photos.

Matters needing attention in the use of reflector pre-lifting

1. In places with particularly good lighting conditions, such as sunny beaches and ski resorts, please complete the image shooting immediately after the reflector is pre-raised.

Please don't aim the lens at the sun when the mirror rises. The heat of the sun will scorch and damage the shutters.

3. If B-door exposure, self-timer and reflector pre-lift are used in combination, please keep pressing the shutter button completely (2 seconds self-timer +B-door exposure time). During the 2-second countdown, if you release the shutter button, the shutter will be released, but this is not shutter release.
