Guangdong independent photographer

Tolan (1904 ~ 1948) is an American cinematographer. Since 15 years old, he began to work as a handyman in the photo studio, and later became a film photographer from 1929 through self-study.

Masterpieces include Wuthering Heights.

Huang Shaofen (19 1 1. -1997), a native of Zhongshan, Guangdong, started filming at the age of 14, and started working independently at the age of 19. China's first color opera film "Life and Death Hate" and the first color film "Butterfly Lovers" after liberation.

I don't know if Du Kefeng taught himself, and I don't know much about him.
