Does the Tamron 28-75 have an EF mount?

The Tamron 28-75 has an EF mount.

Tamron’s 28-75mm lens is the first third-party zoom lens to offer autofocus for the Sony E-mount, and it works with all autofocus modes, even Eye-AF. Priced at US$800 (approximately RMB 5,500), it does provide E-mount users with a new solution for mounting lenses.

And it is an excellent companion for the a7III, and the price is much cheaper than the original lens. Price isn't the only reason to choose the Tamron: there's also the smaller size and weight. Sony's F2.8 zoom lenses tend to be big and heavy: the $2,200 24-70mm F2.8, for example, weighs 886g, compared to the Tamron's 550g.

Tamron 28-75 features:

It can handle still images and video capture tasks on Sony's full-frame cameras. "Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive", the RXD at the end of the name, means almost silent, ensuring accurate focus on full-frame cameras and no unnecessary zoom motor sound in video.

The Tamron offers good center sharpness throughout its zoom range, and for most photographers, that's all that matters. People who want to spend 3x the cash on original Sony lenses can go ahead and buy them, while everyone else can just use Tamron lenses.
