These problems make Fa Xian extremely troubled. Because he is not worried about his own life, what worries Fa Xian most is that these Buddhist scriptures and laws, which he has worked so hard to find, cannot be taken back to his hometown.

When Fa Xian finished The Tale of Buddha, he knew that his life was coming to an end. In the Buddhist temple, Faxian worshiped the Buddha for the last time. For a monk, the purpose of life is to become a Buddha. Since stepping into Buddhism, Faxian has always followed the footsteps of Buddha without a moment's slack.

In 423 AD, Fa Xian died quietly in Xin Temple in Jiangling, Jingzhou, at the age of 86.

After 14 years, he traveled to more than 3 countries, and finally got back 12 important classics, translated more than 6 volumes of millions of books, and recorded the country's mountains, rivers, customs and customs.
