In 2002, his works participated in the "National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong's speech at Yan 'an Forum on Literature and Art" and won the silver prize in the young and middle-aged group.

In 2003, his works won the bronze medal in the national painting and calligraphy exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of Mao Zedong's learning from Comrade Lei Feng.
