Because the canyon used to be the monastery of the Eight Immortals, the Eight Immortals handed down from Bashan collected thousands of rare books in the sky, read all the worldly affairs and traveled around the world, turning these rare books into strange stones and piling them up in the valley. Its rocks are vertically jointed, and thousands of layers are superimposed, just like layers of wordless gobbledygook on a huge bookshelf, which hides an unbreakable secret, hence the name "Tianshuxia".

Xiangxi Cave Scenic Area is 3 kilometers away from Ankang City, with Bashan Mountain in the south and Hanshui River in the north. It is divided into five scenic spots: Xiangxi Cave, Santianmen Mountain, Wuwenshan Mountain, Wugong Mountain and Niutiling Mountain.
