Strategy and Route of Highway around Danjiangkou Reservoir

Danjiangkou Reservoir is a very popular route in road trip recently. It is very suitable for motorcycle riding and bicycle riding, and also suitable for off-road vehicles. Of course, many beautiful scenery along the way is worth taking pictures. Let's introduce it in detail below.

The middle of Fengtu Road has not been repaired, so you can go. Entering Longshan Town, you can visit Longshan Tower, take Gengjiaya Bridge, and enter Huanku Road to the direction of Danjiang River. There are 2 1 bridges along the river (it seems that there are so many bridges), and the scenery is pleasant. Qiandao Lake with clear water and blue sky is beautiful.

There are several alternatives, Wuyuan, Yichang, Enshi and Danjiangkou. I went to the first few places. Thinking of more than eleven people, I chose the route around Danjiangkou Reservoir.

I have been to some places by bike, by car and on foot before, so I should have a lot of experience on the road. But before I set out, I made some preparations and checked some routes around Danjiangkou.

Introduction of Danjiangkou Tourism

Danjiangkou Huanku Highway consists of 16 section, namely:

1. The East Ring Road of Danjiangkou Reservoir Area with danjiangkou city as the center extends to both ends. This is the densest scenic spot, and I personally think it is also the most beautiful road section.

2. danjiangkou city East Ring Road to Liangshui River.

3. Liangxi Road, from Liangshui River in danjiangkou city to Xijiadian. There is a bicycle lane.

4. Xijiadian in Yangxipu Town to Yun Dan Road in Cijialing (danjiangkou city to Yunxian).

5.209 National Road Cijialing to Yun Xiang Pass.

6. Yunman Road (Yunxian to Manchuan Pass) and two Yunxian sections (Yunxian to Yunxi).

7. Yunyang Road, Yunxi County (Yunxi to Yangwei).

8. The section from Jiangjun River to Wufeng in Hujiaying Town, Yun County. This section is a newly built road, which is not shown on Baidu map.

9. Liu Wu Road, Yunxian County (Liu Pi to Wufeng). There is a bicycle lane.

12. From Changling, Yunxian County to Youfangping, Liu Liping, danjiangkou city. This section is also a new road, which is not shown on Baidu map.

13. Youfangping-Liu Liping section of Liu Jun Road, danjiangkou city (Liu Liping to Xunxian Town).

15. Fengtu Road (Fengxiang Shuya to Tutai Township, now Longshan Town).

I also found a road map with a small circle, a middle circle and a big circle on it. The circle is more than 420 kilometers. I feel this is very suitable, so I chose the big circle.

Before leaving, I saw an introduction in CCTV, a circle of 427km, with beautiful scenery.

Because: this road map tm is a big pit! I advise you not to go for at least two years.

The reason is very simple, that is, the line changes around Danjiangkou. There are no roads and no traffic in many places!

I really don't know if the person who painted this picture has walked carefully.

I have traveled by bike, running at least 4w kilometers, and I still have confidence in my ability to find my way.

After introducing this trap, we have to talk about our trip. After all, I have been out for three days, and I still have some gains.

The national day expressway free policy is still very cool. Starting from Wuhan, all the way to Danjiangkou.

Thank my college roommate Yang Meng for taking us to Danjiangkou Dam (similar to the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan).

I had dinner on the boat in the evening. It is delicious. It feels much better to eat on the boat.

Although some hotels were built by the East Lake in Wuhan before, they were all demolished after environmental treatment. This time, eating on the Han River really feels good.

D.2 Danjiangkou Dam-Huanku Highway-Taiji Gorge-Yunxi County-Jiangjunhe Bridge-Liubei Town-Hubei Expressway-Wudang Mountain

The first section is Danjiangkou-Jiangjunhe Bridge, passing through Taiji Gorge and Yunxi County. This setting is consistent with the route in the picture, and there is no problem. Finally, it is only 7 kilometers away from Jiangjunhe Bridge, which is full of bad roads.

I have to say that the sky is blue when I leave the big city! Good mood.

A half-day tour is good, and the scenery is not bad. Often bend the sound in order to practice bending the sound.

The second section: Jiangjunhe Bridge-Wudang Mountain, Liu Pi Town and Youfangping, which are access points, can't be connected no matter how they are erected.

Finally, I enlarged the map and looked at it carefully, only to find that there are several roads connecting each village on the map. Now there is no way to open a mountain and build a road, even the road can't get in, let alone a motorcycle. How do you describe that road? Just like when the earthquake happened, the road collapsed artificially.

All the places where you can take pictures are better roads. The worse road for a novice like me, I dare not stop at all. It's not a shame for me to back up in situ, and I'm afraid I'll fall down if I fall into the mud.

Although I can't see the road mentioned in the road book on the map, I still don't believe in evil. I must try to walk a little longer.

So I discussed with my colleagues, the simple pot and the kidnappers in Joe Doo, and asked them to go to Wudang Mountain at high speed to find a place to live. I have enough oil in my car to run more than 200 kilometers, and I have prepared some dry food and water. I'm just going to see if I can go that way.

So a person walked along the road on the map, got off the Hubei Expressway and continued to walk in the direction of Qingshan Town and Youfangping.

This road is getting worse and worse. Ten kilometers long, all covered by carts. It is difficult to walk. So I asked the way to Qingshan town while walking, and also asked several villagers riding motorcycles. Some villagers said there was no road, while others said the road was under construction and not yet open to traffic. Because of the poor road conditions, if a car falls at 0 speed, it may fall down the mountain. I had to give up my adventure and go back to Wudang Mountain at high speed! Ended the next day's trip.

D3. Wudang Mountain-Longshan Town (returning to Fengtu Road from National Highway)-Blue Sea and Blue Sky Observation Deck-Qiandao Gallery-Niuhe Village-take the expressway back to Wuhan.

This is Fengtu Road under construction. I am surprised that the middle section of this road is well built, and both ends are dead ends. I asked the local villagers that this road is the only one between Longshan Town and the outside world.

I have no choice but to go back to the national highway and go directly to the scenic spot near Danjiangkou along the national highway. Finally, I found this greenway around the library next to Danjiangkou Blue Water and Blue Sky Scenic Area (only one section, this road tm has not been repaired).

Arrive near Thousand Island Gallery at noon 12:30, find a farmhouse and ask the owner of the farmhouse for directions in detail. Finally, I learned that this scenic greenway has not been repaired, and it will be connected to Longshan Town in the future.

The scenery of Danjiangkou Reservoir is still good, not as beautiful as expected. Unfortunately, there is no aerial photography.

I returned to Wuhan at eight o'clock in the evening and ended my trip.

Danjiang Reservoir had the highest water level last year, so there will be many roads under water. Travel is just for excitement.
