Four-dimensional color ultrasound is a kind of volume imaging, which is different from the color photosensitive imaging of general photography. It can be simply understood as imaging the fetus and amniotic fluid together, and then removing the amniotic fluid part. However, the placenta, umbilical cord, uterine wall, etc. cannot be removed during the imaging process. Four-dimensional color ultrasound can observe the growth and development of intrauterine fetuses from multiple directions and angles, providing accurate scientific basis for early diagnosis of fetal congenital surface malformations and congenital heart diseases. Four-dimensional color ultrasound can also examine the fetal body surface, such as cleft lip, spina bifida, brain, kidney, heart, skeletal dysplasia, etc., so as to provide early treatment. Four-dimensional color ultrasound allows doctors to observe the dynamic movement of the internal organs of the human body in real time. But birthmarks cannot be seen on four-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound.
