1953 On March 15, President Ho Chi Minh issued a document on the establishment of a state-run news film photography department; 1956, Vietnam's Ministry of Culture established the Film Bureau. Vietnam Film Studio was established in 1958. From 1953 to 1959, Vietnamese films are mainly news documentaries, and nearly 300 films 16 mm and 35 mm have been shot. From 65438 to 0959, Vietnam filmed the first feature film "The Same River", directed by Ruan Hefan. The film exposes the conspiracy of Wu Tingyan reactionary clique in South Vietnam to undermine the Geneva Agreement under the encouragement of foreign forces, and shows the will and struggle of the Vietnamese people for the reunification of the motherland.
