Hengdian Film and Television City, the largest film and television city, has 12 film and television shooting bases, with a total land area of 4,963 mu and a construction area of 495,995 square meters. It is the largest film and television city in China and even in Asia. Qin king Palace, Riverside Scene in Qingming Festival and Palace in Ming and Qing Dynasties under the jurisdiction of Hengdian Film and Television City, the largest tourist attraction, are magnificent, and the construction scale of these three bases ranks first among similar shooting bases (scenic spots) in China.

The largest hall is the Mahatma Hall, the main hall of Dazhi Zen Temple restored by Hengdian Group, with a height of 45.05 meters, and the height of Sakyamuni Buddha in the hall is 28.88 meters. The indoor Buddha statue ranks first in the country.

Hengdian Film and Television City, which filmed the most TV dramas, received more than 200 crews and filmed more than 4,000 episodes of TV dramas from 1996 to the end of 2003.

According to statistics, in 2003, there were more than 1200 supporting actors with certain performance skills living in Hengdian, and more than 1 1000 registered extras participated in filming.
