The difference between special students and art students

1, different definitions

At present, there is no unified definition of "special students" in China. Special students in a broad sense refer to students and student groups with certain skills or specialties; Special students in a narrow sense refer to students or groups of students with excellent qualifications.

Art candidates refer to candidates who apply for art colleges or colleges. Unlike other types of candidates, such candidates must take the college entrance examination and professional examinations organized by schools or local organizations.

2. Different majors

Special students: Art includes vocal music, instrumental music, dance, painting, calligraphy and sports. Different schools have different requirements for physical education students.

Art students: recording arts, musicology, calligraphy, radio and television director, drama and film literature, digital media art, industrial design, advertising, exhibition art and technology, photography, animation, painting, sculpture, fine arts, art design, dance, vocal music, broadcasting, performance and editing.

3. The admission policies are different.

Special students are candidates with certain professional expertise. After passing the unified examination, being confirmed by the applicant school and publicized by the Ministry of Education, the provincial and municipal admissions offices can provide files to the school within 20 points of the school grading score line (but not lower than the admission control score line of the same batch of schools), which will be examined and accepted by the school.

Simply put, ordinary candidates have professional expertise. Don't study art majors after admission, but actively participate in various cultural and sports activities in the school.

Art students refer to students who have a professional level, passed the joint entrance examination of professional courses in provinces and cities (some provinces and cities do not organize the joint entrance examination) and the school examination organized by colleges and universities, passed the admission scores of art books and majors in that year, and continued to study art-related majors after admission. There are similarities between them, but there are also essential differences.
