As a backup machine for SLR cameras

Flagship small DC, Canon G 12, Panasonic LX5 can choose:

& lt 1 & gt; G 12 is bigger than others, so it can only be regarded as a high-end flagship machine. It doesn't look like a SLR standby machine, but it is more in line with S95, which is light and compact.

& lt2 & gtP7000 is as good as Canon G 12, but it looks like a miniature SLR, which is a bit repetitive. In addition, as a backup machine, its function is to carry it around, portable and functional enough. Personally, P7000 can be classified as G 12, with excellent performance, but its appearance and portability do not meet our requirements.

& lt3> Sony NEX is a miniature lens that needs to be replaced. Obviously, you not only have to bear the extra Sony lens group, but also take it out as troublesome as the SLR. Why don't you just go out with the SLR?

& lt4> Comprehensive consideration: personal recommendation. LX5 is a good choice. It's my SLR backup machine. The king of little DC is not a hollow name. Let me say:

1, if you usually run around, the portability advantage of LX5 will be reflected. Now it's convenient to sweep the street with LX5 in my schoolbag (the best thing is that LX5 can be hung in the leather case on the belt like a mobile phone, and I can take pictures in 5 seconds when I meet wonderful moments, which helps me capture many touching moments in my life).

2.LX5 uses Lycra lens (of course, it is produced by itself and has Lycra certification), with excellent wide-angle end and bright color reproduction, such as taking flowers, scenery, people and climbing mountains. As a SLR backup machine, its wide-angle end is really easy to use. Especially the creative filters and color patterns are easy for newcomers to use, which is why I love photography.

3. The white version of LX5 is very fashionable and generous, with outstanding performance, and friends like to borrow it. The battery is also very reliable. Last time I went to Huashan, I forgot to charge. I took more than 300 photos of Zhang Cai lying down. Now I don't have to charge RTVU for half a month (more than three movies are shown every day). It's a great love.

4. The biggest advantage of 4.LX5 is that the wide-angle end reaches 24mm, and the wide-angle 1mm is valuable, which is vividly reflected in tourism. LX5 has a good grip and handle design. Video recording is powerful. The details of the picture are well preserved, the operation is very convenient, and the design is closer to the operation of SLR.

Use for a long time, also talk about its shortcomings:

1, there is no blurring effect when taking portraits. This is a fly in the ointment. After all, it's just a small DC, not a big SLR, hehe.

2, the night scene effect can't catch up with the professional SLR, which is also a bit of a fly in the ointment.

The other is Canon G 12. I don't like its appearance, because I want to get a SLR, so I chose LX5. LX5 didn't let me down, hehe.

From LX3 to LX5, the king of small DC has been sitting for several years. In a few years, DC will be numerous, but no one can shake its position. Obviously, the performance is excellent. Of course, I can't believe everything I say. You can refer to the relevant evaluation before making a decision!

Related supplements:

1, theoretically, the EF lens can be switched, but there is no guarantee that it will not run out of focus and the focusing system can work normally.

2. After the transfer, the camera can't communicate with the lens, and NEX has no physical movement, which means one thing: manual focus, sad reminder.

Since you have brought EF lens and NEX, you must bring a camera bag. Since you have a camera bag, I think there is no shortage of space to bring that SLR, and the meaning of SLR standby disappears. The so-called standby is a tool to seize the wonderful moment when it is inconvenient for you to bring the SLR or when the SLR is not around at ordinary times. If it is inconvenient to carry, it will lose the meaning of standby for SLR.
