Why are photographers so cold-blooded?

Isn't it cold-blooded to send it to the zoo? At that time, the British sent thousands of animals from their original habitats to zoos, museums and dining tables in various colonies and private territories, which led to the extinction of species. Isn't it cold-blooded to put these wild animals under human eyes? What is the real wildlife protection?
