20 10 Overview of Danish Pavilion in Shanghai World Expo

The exhibition hall is composed of two circular tracks, forming indoor and outdoor parts. Seen from the top, it looks like a spiral, which goes beyond the traditional exhibition form and brings the feeling of constantly shuttling between indoor and outdoor. The pavilion is like an open fairy tale book, which is divided into three chapters: "How do we live", "How do we entertain" and "How do we imagine the future" to introduce the daily life, personality hobbies and prospects of Danes. Denmark's symbol and famous sculpture "The Little Mermaid" went abroad for the first time and was placed in the center of the Danish Pavilion, making visitors feel as if they were in Andersen's children's kingdom.

The Danish Pavilion is like a vivid fairy tale book, leading tourists to experience the city life in Denmark. The fairy tale book is divided into three chapters: the first chapter, How Do We Live, produced by Martin de Thurah, a famous Danish film director, tells how Danes live in cities and their daily life structure, including how to build a city with high quality of life; The second chapter, "How do we entertain", co-produced with photographer Peter Funch, introduces Danes and their personal stories about the value of life. The last chapter, "How do we look forward to the future", looks forward to the common future of Denmark and China, and how the cooperation between the two sides in the fields of technology and knowledge will improve urban life.
