Principle of shrimp interest structure

Composition is a compulsory course in photography, whether it is a SLR or a mobile phone. Even if the camera of this era is very intelligent, it can automatically measure light, correct white balance and then automatically expose. You can also find beautification software to beautify automatically after shooting, but you still can't escape the composition! What kind of scenery should the camera aim at? How to choose the beautiful scenery? I took it from the left? Right shot? Shoot from above? Or shoot below? The name of composition originated from western art, and the composition of photography is also called framing. Although it originated from painting, there are still some differences. The composition of photography mainly comes from the summary of outstanding photographic works by predecessors. I saw someone on the Internet sum up dozens of composing techniques in one breath. Personally, I think the mainstream composition principles are only three:

Composition with lines;

Composition according to shape;

Use the picture to balance composition;

First, the use of line composition

Using lines is basically the most common composition method. When talking about the laws followed by visual factors in photographic images, Soviet photographer B. Stigneyev pointed out: "People's eyes first pay attention to the long line in the photo, and then move along this long line. Vertical lines attract people to look up, thus creating a sense of height; Horizontal lines make people look to both sides, thus giving people a sense of width. In this way, the vertical line can emphasize the height of the subject, while the horizontal line will emphasize its breadth. In addition, when looking at any photo, we often automatically form a central axis, that is, a horizontal line and a vertical line directly pass through the center of the picture.

(1) horizontal line

When using this composition method, photographers can bring different visual feelings by arranging horizontal lines at different positions in the picture.

Center the horizontal line. If you put the horizontal line in the middle, it can give people a sense of balance and stability.

Move the horizontal line down. If you move the horizontal line down, you can strengthen the height of the sky.

Move the horizontal line up. If you move the horizontal line up, you can show the vastness of the earth or lakes and oceans.

Multiple horizontal lines, repeated many times can be emphasized.

(2) Vertical line composition

Vertical line composition is a composition method that uses linear elements perpendicular to the upper and lower borders of the picture to construct the picture. Vertical line composition generally has the characteristics of towering, straight, solemn and powerful. Trees, columns, railings, etc. What we often see in our daily life are all available vertical line composition elements. When shooting portraits, choosing vertical lines as the background can play a strong role in modifying the figure shape.

A vertical line and a diagonal line can fully represent the height and depth of the scene.

Multiple vertical lines and diagonal lines can represent the pictures composed of vertical lines, such as towering trees, steep rocks, waterfalls and skyscrapers. There is a sense of solemnity.

(3) Diagonal composition

Diagonal composition often shows scenes such as movement, flow, tilt, turbulence, imbalance, tension, danger and thousands of miles away.

Monodiagonal and diagonal composition can not only show motion, tilt, turbulence and imbalance, but also point out specific objects through the diagonal in the picture, which plays a fixed guiding role.

Diagonal lines and diagonal lines become diagonal lines when they are tilted to a certain extent, which maximizes the extensibility of the picture, but will not be unbalanced again. This is probably what we often say.

The crosshair is two non-overlapping diagonal lines, which can make full use of the screen space and lead the line of sight to the center of the cross or to the outside of the screen. They are lively, relaxed, stretched and subtle.

Crosshair, a special kind of crosshair, has all the characteristics of crosshair and is more dignified at the same time.

(4)S-line composition

The scenery on the screen is in the form of S-shaped curve composition, which has the characteristics of extension and change, making people look beautiful, elegant and harmonious. Commonly used in rivers, streams, winding paths, paths, etc.

Second, the composition of geometric figures

Geometry is just a closed line. Gruyter believes: "The prominent lines in the picture are as important as lighting and perspective. Sometimes, as long as the direction of one or two lines changes, the intention expressed by the whole photo composition changes. The lines in the picture can be connected or separated. A straight line appears static or rigid, while a broken line or curve gives a vivid impression. When several lines converge, they form an angle, or a square, rectangle, triangle or polygon. Lines don't have to appear directly on the theme. On the contrary, sometimes photos are more infectious because they contain imaginary lines that connect several objects together.

(1) triangle

Triangular composition, also known as pyramid composition, has the characteristics of stability, balance and elasticity, and at the same time, it can give the audience an invisible and powerful sense of internal weight from the visual effect of the picture. The portrait is steady, and the building has a feeling of soaring.

A high triangle can give people an upward and forward movement.

The low triangle is as steady as Mount Tai, giving people a sense of solemnity and stability.
