The development of history

In the 11th year of Emperor Yangdi Huang Kai (59 1), Lishui County was established in the west of Liyang County and in the east of Danyang, named after Lishui. One said that the name of the county originated from Piaoshan, also known as Sushan, which was named after its shape like millet.
