Huaping is the only place where "Sichuan salt enters Hunan" in ancient times. It has many historical sites and rich tourism resources. The township has places of interest such as the Huaguoping Paleontology Fossil Cave Group, a Hubei Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit, the tombstone of Xiang and his wife in Longtanba, and the former residence of Mr. Zhu Hezhong. There are also Jingyangguan Tunnel, Guankou, Wufeng Mountain, Huanghe Bridge, Guandou Mountain, and Vanilla Ridge. and other tourist attractions.

The pass, also known as Jingyang Pass (Jianping Pass), is located in a group of Changcao Village, Huaping Township, bordering Longjiaba in Jingyang Town, with an altitude of 1,080 meters. In the past, it was a pass that travelers from the south to the north of the county town, Huaping, Jingyang and Guandian passed through. To the south is the Jingyang River Estuary, which has a dangerous terrain. As early as the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the county government often sent troops to guard it. Today's Guankou, in addition to its unique scenery, is also famous for its rich production of "Guankou grapes". The grapes here have a unique taste. Grape seedlings in this area lose their original flavor when grafted outside the area, so they have earned the reputation of "Guankou grapes".

Wufeng Mountain is located in Group 4 of Shibanxi Village, Huaping Township, 12 kilometers away from the seat of the township government. It consists of five peaks, with the highest altitude of 1,570 meters. The five peaks are closely adjacent, and there were small bridges connecting the peaks. During the Republic of China, temples were built on each peak, and incense was burned all year round. There was a merit monument at the foot of the mountain, and there was a tree with 8 people 2 kilometers away from Wufeng Mountain. The big ginkgo tree can be surrounded by people. It is now designated as one of the important tourist attractions in our county by the County Tourism Bureau. Each of the five peaks is higher than the other, and the scene is very spectacular.

Huanghe Bridge, there is a place called Huanghe in Huaping Township, located on the side of Jingyangguan, a famous cultural and natural landscape in Jianshi. For many years, people here work at sunrise and rest at sunset, living a peaceful life. Once, a photographer from out of town came here to take pictures of the scenery. A local farmer casually said to him: "The scenery of Huanghe Bridge here is quite beautiful." The photographer went there happily under the guidance of the locals. At first glance, it was indeed wonderful. ! Since then, the mystery of this masterpiece of nature hidden in the boudoir has been unveiled. The Huangheqiao Scenic Area is bounded by Jiangqing to the south and Huaping to the north. The "Tianer" Highway passes through the periphery of the scenic area. The scenic area is hidden deep among the overhanging rocks and cliffs. Its landforms are basically in their original state. Strange flowers and plants can be seen everywhere, including Chinese herbal medicine. There are as many as 300 species in the scenic area. The scenic spots are densely packed with strange landscapes. There are all kinds of large and small stone pillars, strange peaks, deep valleys and cliffs. There are many "line of sky" scenery alone, and the shapes are different and wonderful. Today, the Huanghe Bridge Scenic Area has been included in the overall planning of the Qingjiang Tourism Line and will be developed. Its unique landscape will be appreciated by more people in the future.
