How to clean the inside of SLR lens when it is dirty?

1. Blow and brush

These two can be said to be the most commonly used and indispensable cleaning tools. Blowing is generally a tool mounted on a balloon and made of rubber. When in use, gently pinch the "belly" part to blow away the dust on the lens and fuselage.

Brush is a kind of rotatable telescopic brush, and its function is similar to blowing. Brush off the fine dust with this tool.

2. Cleaning cloth and cleaning liquid

Similar to glasses cloth, but never wipe the camera with glasses cloth! Because the camera cleaning cloth is woven in a special way, it will not scratch the lens and has a good absorption effect on stains such as water and oil, which is incomparable to glasses cloth.

In addition, we will use cleaning paper with cleaning liquid. In the cleaning process, we usually use cleaning paper to clean the camera with cleaning liquid, and then carefully clean it with a cleaning cloth.

3. Cotton swabs and jelly sticks

The cotton swabs used to clean the camera are different from ordinary cotton swabs. The cotton swab for cleaning the camera is pointed, which is convenient for cleaning the camera corners such as switches, dials and small buttons.

The jelly stick is specially used to clean the sensor, and there is a jelly-like head at the front end to stick away the stubborn particles on the sensor. Cleaning sensors We also often use sensor cleaning sticks. Unlike jelly bars, it needs to be used with cleaning liquid.

4. Ultraviolet mirror

Originally, we used a UV mirror to prevent the purple edge imagination in photography, because it can absorb ultraviolet rays with wavelengths below 400 nanometers.

Installing a UV mirror in front of the lens can avoid the direct contact between the coating on the lens surface and the external environment, which is beneficial and harmless, and can be said to be an artifact to protect the lens.

Second, the camera must know the cleaning skills.

We use different tools to clean different parts of the camera. Generally speaking, the places where cameras are prone to dust are various interface gaps, lenses and sensors.

1. lens cleaning

The top lens of the lens group in front of the lens is the easiest to get dirty. When shooting, my finger accidentally touched it, and all kinds of dust particles easily gathered here.

Pay attention to the coating on the lens surface. Don't wear it. First, use a brush or air blowing to remove large pieces of dust, and then use a cleaning paper or a cleaning cloth to wipe off traces such as paper lines and water stains. Artifacts such as stubborn particles and compressed air can also be used.
