The Film Making of Zhao's Orphan

FX base is responsible for the special effects production of orphan Zhao.

In Orphan of Zhao, Base FX's main special effects work is not only to erase and clean up the picture, but also to deal with some major events, such as the fall of the carriage, arrows and revenge maps. These contents are all indispensable elements in the film, but they can't be achieved by real shooting, only by computer special effects.

In order to make special effects better integrated into the film, Base FX sent a special effects director and several special effects directors to participate in the design and shooting of special effects shots at the shooting scene, and made detailed written records and picture arrangement during the shooting process. In the last week of June 65438+ 10, Base FX cooperated more closely with the director of photography of orphan Zhao, and submitted each shot to the producer as soon as it was over, so that the producer could get feedback and make corrections in the fastest time.

In order to film The Orphan of Zhao, Chen Kaige chose to build The Orphan City of Zhao, with a total investment of nearly 40 million, covering an area of 152 mu, and chose to build it in Xiangshan, Zhejiang. The main scene buildings in the city include Taoyuan Palace, blacksmith's shop, school, Gongsun House, market, military camp and Tu An Jiafu.
